N’Golo Kante has completed a £32m move from Leicester to Chelsea

Here is what the French midfielder had to say following his switch to Chelsea.

“I am so happy to have signed for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It’s a dream come true for me,” he told the official club’s website.

“The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down.”

“My first season in English football was very special and now I hope to go on to achieve even more during my time as a Chelsea player. I am looking forward to meeting up with my new team-mates and helping the club achieve a lot of success.”

For the second group fixture England were matched against the Netherlands. England found themselves a goal behind before Dominic Solanke levelled matters.

With the game delicately balanced it was left to Izzy Brown to secure the victory with a stoppage time winner.

England have one last group game to take care of, against Croatia this coming Monday, before contemplating taking part in the semi-finals.

Solanke has now scored in both group matches, here`s hoping he continues on his scoring run and that the Chelsea youngsters continue to prosper in the U19 England squad.

Reading FC have completed the signing of young midfielder John Swift .

The 21-year-old free agent, whose contract with Chelsea came to an end this summer, has penned a three-year contract with Royals.He has a one-year option to extend his contract too.

The midfielder leaves Chelsea after nine years at the club.

Reading boss Jaap Stam said: “John is a very talented player. I’ve seen him play and I think he could be very important in the way we want to play.”

Chelsea’s centre-back Kenneth Omeruo is set to join the Turkish League champions Besiktas on a season long loan deal .

A source close to the player told Turkish-Football that Besiktas have struck a deal with Chelsea to sign Omeruo on a season-long loan deal. Besiktas have agreed a release clause in the contract and will have the option to sign the 22-year-old on a permanent basis. Besiktas are expected to cover his €1.1 million salary over the course of next season.

The Nigerian international is already familiar with Istanbul having played for city rivals Kasimpasa last season.

Besiktas won the league title last season and go into the 2016-17 campaign as one of the bookmakers favourites. Omeruo made 25 appearances in the Turkish Super League for Kasimpasa last season.

Chelsea are stepping up their efforts to sign Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante now that Euro 2016 is over, according to multiple reports in the British media.

Shanghai SIPG have submitted an offer of £35m but the player is not keen on a move to China, according to the Daily Mail.

Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Kante has reportedly cooled since they replaced Laurent Blanc with Unai Emery, and Chelsea will be encouraged that the 25-year-old has his heart set on a move to Stamford Bridge after rejecting the offer of a new contract from Leicester City, according to the Telegraph.

Chelsea are hoping to sign Lazio winger Felipe Anderson for the next season, according to reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Brazilian failed to attend the Lazio’s summer training camp as he wants to take part in next month’s Olympics in his Brazil.

However, the Italian sports daily also claims the player’s failure to link up with his team-mates is due to the Chelsea’s interest in him.

His ownership is currently esteemed around £32m and the Brazilian attacking midfielder has been heavily linked also with a move to Manchester United in January.

Michy Batshuayi has joined Chelsea from Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille for around 33 million £, we take a look at the striker who will be the blues first new signing under our new manager Antonio Conte

Born in Brussels on 2nd October 1993, Batshuayi had youth career with spells at Evere, Schaarbeek, FC Brussels and Anderlecht before joining Standard Liège (Belgian Pro League)

Batshuayi made his debut for the senior team on 20 February 2011 in a 4–1 loss away to Gent, replacing Franck Berrier for the last seven minutes. On 15 December he scored his first professional goal, the only one away to F.C. Copenhagen in the last match of Group B during the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League group stage, sending his team into the knockout stages. In the 2013–14 season, Batshuayi contributed 21 goals in 34 games, putting him in second place for the league’s top scorer behind Lokeren’s Hamdi HarbaouThis tally included a first professional hat-trick on 15 September in a 4–2 win at Oostende. He was awarded the Ebony Shoe Award for the season’s best player of African origin. In total he scored 44 goals in 120 appearances for SL

Olympique Marseille

On August 8th 2014 Batshuayi had signed with French team OM for around 4.5m £. In his first season at OM he scored 10 goals in 28 appearances. After his brace against Troyes the club president Vincent Lebrune said “there is not a single top 15 world club that is not interested in Batshuayi. He is one of the most wanted players on the market. There were a lot of offers for him this summer, but he didn’t want to leave. He’s proving himself on the pitch, and if clubs want him then they are going to have to pay around €50m”. During his second season at OM he scored 23 goals in 50 appearances.


International appearances

Batshuayi was eligible to play for the DR Congo national team through his parents, but in March 2015 he ruled out this option, stating that although his Congolese heritage is important to him, he would rather represent Belgium.

The striker made his international debut for Belgium on 28 March 2015 replacing Benteke in the 77th minute and scoring 3 minutes later from outside the box.

According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is one of the top targets for the incoming Chelsea’s manager Antonio Conte.

Conte has put French defender on top of his shopping list and Ambramovic’s staff would offer at least €40m (£30m) for the defender.

Koulibaly was also followed by Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

The Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claimed that Red Devils had a €20m (£15.5m) offer turned down in January, as Napoli would only negotiate him for at least €30m.

Paris Saint-Germain should close part of their stadium for next season Champions League’s games.

Last April Sportsmail  had revealed that five Chelsea’s disabled fans have suffered horrific abuse while watching the first leg of last Champions League round of 16 at Parc des Princes in Paris.

Supporters were spat, and they had coins, bottles and chewing-gum thrown at them by PSG crowd.

Following these shameful facts UEFA opened disciplinary action against PSG for ‘alleged offences concerning racism, other discriminatory conduct and propaganda.’

PSG will defend themselves at a hearing scheduled for this Friday and the matter will then be decided by UEFA’s Control and Disciplinary Body on July 17.
