Born and raised in Tuscany, Italy, Francesca began to follow football when she was a child, being part of a family with a huge passion for football and sport.
She started her career in the Milan area as a photographer and journalist for the local press, and moved to Madrid where she reported on La Liga for three years. In 2012 she had the idea to create a website about Chelsea, a club she has liked since Gianfranco Zola was a Blue, and moved to London the following year to work on the Premier League, fulfilling a dream she’d had since she was a kid. In May 2014, she covered her first Champions League final as a professional photojournalist in Lisbon, Portugal. Her motto is: never stop following your dreams.
