It has been official for a couple of weeks that ex Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti will be new Bayern Munich manager since the beginning of the next season.

The Italian coach will replace Pep Guardiola, whose future is uncertain.

But the Spanish manager has come out to reveal what is his wish, explaining why he didn’t want to stay in Germany:

“I’m very happy and grateful to Bayern for the trust they’ve shown in me but I need a new challenge.

“The reason I have not extended my contract is simple. I want to manage in the Premier League,” said Guardiola, reinforcing the rumours that would put him on Chelsea or Manchester City’s bench for next season.

But, he reveals:”I haven’t decided on a new club yet.

“I have offers from England,” he added “but I have not signed a contract yet. When I have a new contract, then we will communicate it.

So Chelsea fans can still dream to have one of the best managers in the world at their service.
