Former England manager Fabio Capello says he is ready to take charge at Chelsea if Jose Mourinho will be sacked.
Capello is currently out of work after being let go by Russian national team and according to his words he is open to new coaching challenges.
Capello told Capena Cope:
”Is my future at Chelsea? I do not miss the bench, but if something interesting comes along, why not?”
”At this moment, I’m still in Russia, in Moscow”
”For now, I haven’t heard anything or received any [offers] but if something interesting does come along then why not?”
”Since Courtois got injured they have lost all defensive security”
The last time when Capello was interviewed he accused Mourinho of burning out his players too fast :
”Mourinho is a strategist. He, in this difficult moment, has asked his club to take sides or with him or against him. And the company made a statement defending him.”
”Mourinho is a great coach, but after a year and a half he burns out his players. His men are mentally unable to give him what he wants.”
“The cycles of the current Chelsea manager all tend to last more or less this time.”
“After that his teams have no rhythm, they are missing the malice and there is no aggression.”
