During last night clash at White Hart Lane two Spanish Chelsea players had a little burst-up: Diego Costa and Pedro were seen arguing for over a minute on the pitch in the end of the first half, when the ex Barcelona forward failed to run into space to collect an assist.
The ex Atletico Madrid striker was furious to his team-mate but, anyway, it seemed that everything was already set between the two after the burst up on the pitch.
Costa was reached by IBTimes UK‘s colleagues and explained what happened:
“Nothing happened. We have a great understanding with each other. When you have a trusted relationship and intimacy with a teammate it is normal for these things to happen,” the Brazilian-born-striker claimed.
“It was just a moment during the game, and that’s it. It was nothing. I told him: ‘You have to get in there, why didn’t you go?’ He said ‘I went’ and I said he didn’t. That’s it. Pedro is my brother and we love each other.”
