Football Association chief executive Martin Glenn has given his backing to Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro over Jose Mourinho criticism.
The FA chief executive was criticised by many people for not taking any actions in the conflict between dr Carneiro and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
For the record, Eva Carneiro and Jon Fearn have been axed from Chelsea bench for running on to the pitch to attend to Eden Hazard during Chelsea clash against Swansea in the first match of the new Premier League season.
That is why, speaking at the Soccerex Convention in Manchester Glenn has given his backing to Chelsea medical stuff. He said:
“We work to a FIFA mandate on medical support. The duty of the doctor is to the player, not the employer. It is the Hippocratic oath.”
“It is an issue for Chelsea to sort out but I don’t believe they are playing a dangerous game.”
