Guus Hiddink was not happy for the Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against WBA, but was even un-happier about referee Anthony Taylor‘s performance.
For the Dutch boss the referee made a huge mistake when he didn’t show the red card to West Brom’s midfielder Claudio Yacob, that made some dangerous tackles, especially on Oscar and Diego Costa:
“The unbeaten run goes on but we would have preferred the win,” Hiddink started when analysing the game.
“West Brom always bounce back, there is great character. It was an intense game.”
According to the Dutch coach, Taylor had to show Yacob the second yellow card after a hard tackle on Costa:
“Diego Costa controls himself, he is very dangerous. The player is concentrated on his job and doing very well.
“The manager [Tony Pulis] made a wise decision when he took over the role of the referee and took off Claudio Yacob. The referee forgot to do it.”
