Chelsea midfielder Oscar isn’t enduring his best spell at Chelsea – and Jose Mourinho has hinted at an exit for the Brazilian this summer after Chelsea’s last game against Stoke.
Oscar was replaced at half-time by the Portuguese man after another disappointing performance, and when Mourinho was asked about the performance of the Brazilian he replied cryptically: “I don’t think he had a bad performance, I just think he was not good enough, which is a huge difference.“
Oscar hasn’t scored since the 17th January. In the three months between then and now, he has only completed one game [he played for 89 minutes against Manchester City] and was on the bench or substituted during all other games in that period – there have been 14 games since the 17th January.
This is surely a sign that the 23-year old isn’t topping the manager’s list of regular starters. So, it’s probable he will be replaced in the next transfer window. Liverpool are reportedly interested in the midfielder, who has made 148 appearances for the Blues since signing from Internacional in 2012.
