Michy Batshuayi is probably the perfect man to revamp Chelsea’s attack.
The Belgium international, who joined the Blues from Olympique Marseille on a £33m move this summer, has already showed a formidable force and finishing in the first games with his new side since his arrival at Stamford Bridge.
Here are some stats to prove it:
– He created about 3 goal chances per game despite he played just 32’ in Premier League and 90’ in the EFL Cup second round against Bristol Rovers at Stamford Bridge, where he scored a brace
– the 73% of Batshuayi’s shots are on target, a great percentage also given that his teammate Diego Costa has lesser numbers (51% on target).
All his teammates are backing him since his arrival; goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois recently claimed “Batshuayi has showed in all the games that when he comes in he wants to score and he shows amazing drive to score” and as the Belgium international star confirmed “it’s always good to have a great striker on the bench who can score a goal”.
Moreover, Batshuayi is settling into life at Chelsea and succeeded in familiarizing with teammates, especially with his “rival” on the pitch: Diego Costa.

The 22-year-old needs to improve his defensive contribution and the ability in the aerial duels. His idol and former Chelsea legend Didier Drogba had a better percentage in these skills during his era with the Blues, anyway Michy Batshuayi has what it takes to improve and become a key player for the whole squad under manager Antonio Conte.
He started very well, he clearly can improve, he wants to do better.
“I have joined a club that really want to win”
