Savage on Terry’s performance: ”He was awful once again.”

Robbie Savage has stated, that in his opinion Chelsea looked a better side without their captain John Terry on the pitch. The pundit has never been a favorite of the Blues captain and after this statement certainly it will not change for a  long time.

Savage said on Radio 5 Live:

“You’ve got to know the players you’re playing against,”

“Mahrez, for instance, gets the ball and goes on his left foot. You know he’s going to whip it in. ”

“You’ve got to get closer to him. I’ve never seen him go down the line and cross with his right foot.”

“Zouma can see Vardy for the first goal. He watches him. Terry’s got his back to play.”

“I’m going to criticise John Terry again because he’s the captain of that team and they looked a better side when he went off.”

”If he wants to question me again I don’t really care because tonight he was awful once again.”
