Wright-Philips claims Hazard should not be named PFA Player of the Year

Ex Chelsea star Shaun Wright-Philips believes that, despite his oustanding season, Eden Hazard should not win the PFA Player of the Year award:

“Hazard is an unbelievable player but N’Golo Kante has been outstanding this year,” the former told 888sport.

“If he scored goals the PFA award would be given to him hands down but because he’s more defensive does he get it?”

The French midfielder has scored only 2 goals in 31 appearances with the Blues during this season but his performances were outstanding.

Eden Hazard, who was back on top form this year, scored 14 goals and gave 5 assists in 32 games.
