The new kits for Chelsea‘s 2016/17 season have been leaked and it’s a bold move from Adidas.
Chelsea are undoubtedly looking to put a difficult season behind them and Adidas are seemingly helping them with a brand new look for next year.
The tradition at Stamford Bridge is a solid blue base colour for the kit, but next year Chelsea will take to the field in a kit, published by voetbal shirtjes, with the Chelsea logo in dark blue printed all over the slightly lighter blue of the shirt.
For away games, Chelsea do have a tendency to wear a black shirt, much like the kit for the current season. However, the black and grey stripes of next years shirt do resemble the away kit of 2009 which wasn’t well received by the Chelsea fans. Adidas are making a courageous move in trying to impress the fans with something a little different for next year.
