Former Chelsea striker Carlton Cole has received two-year driving ban after he failed to reopen his case.
On 29 August former Blues was caught speeding through a 20mph zone in Central London. He was asked twice to respond to notices about the incident and give information relating to the identification of a motor vehicle but he refused to answer.
Due to the lack of cooperation with the judiciary, Cole has received two-year driving ban. Former Chelsea player made an appeal at City of London Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday but he failed. He maintained that did not respond to the court summons because he did not receive them. However, the court did not believe in his explanations.
