Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas have made 65 league appearances at Chelsea so far this season.
Matic was named in the PFA Team of the Year and this shows his excellent season.
Surprisingly, Fabregas didn’t get the nomination, but no player in England has made as many assists as him.
The magic pair have written their place in Blues history.
“I’m very proud and very happy,” claimed Fabregas. “It’s a fantastic feeling to win the Premier League.
“It’s also a relief. I have been waiting for it for a long time. I have been in this league for many years now and to win this trophy means a lot.
“To do it at home is very important as well. I think we are all proud and we cannot wait for next season now.”
There are still three league games to play. Matic explained he and his teammates want to maintain these high standards.
“We will be prepared for those,” the Serbian said. “Of course we don’t have the pressure of needing to win the league anymore, we are first whatever, but we will play seriously and try to enjoy the games we have left.
“We have done a great job this season and we want to carry on like that until the end.”
In the last three matches Chelsea supporters sang a song starting in this way: Fabregas is magic…
“I first heard it at Leicester,” said Fabregas.
“It’s always nice to feel important to the fans and to experience these kinds of things is fantastic for me. It’s a great feeling.”
