Last week some rumours circulated about a possible return of midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to Chelsea in January after the London club have sent him to play for Ac Milan on a season-long loan.

Speaking to SportWitness however, Bakayoko’s agent Federico Pastorello strongly denied these rumours: “Bakayoko is happy in Milan and Milan are happy with him. It was known he would need a bit of time, but everyone is convinced he can contribute a lot to their season”. Pastorello said. “All this chatter about a return to Chelsea in January is completely unfounded.”

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho’s agent has confirmed “it was all done” with Manchester City before moving to Stamford Bridge but Citizens couldn’t find a deal with Napoli.

The Italian international followed Maurizio Sarri from San Paolo to Stamford Bridge last summer, despite being in talks with Pep Guardiola‘s side for weeks.

“It was all done with Jorginho,” Joao Santos revealed to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“There was an agreement, but there was no agreement between the clubs. All parties have to agree, and one did not.

“Then Chelsea asked what the situation was after Sarri arrived and Jorginho went to London.

“He’s really enjoying it at Chelsea, the team is on a roll and has won four matches out of four. It’s a great start.

“Going to Chelsea was a unique opportunity, the career of a player is very short and now we hope for the best.”

It has been reported Chelsea are closing in on a move to land defender Daniele Rugani to Stamford Bridge from Juventus in the next weeks.

However, hist agent Daniele Torchia believes a move to the Premier League giants is anything but done. He told Tuttomercatoweb: “I am happy for Sarri because no one believes he could get there and instead here his is coaching Chelsea.

“Everyone thinks that [Rugani] follows him to Chelsea, but it must be considered that Juventus also did not accept any negotiations in the past, either with Napoli nor with any other teams and has always expressed the will to keep the player and today that has not changed.

“To date, that will has not changed and Rugani himself has not expressed a willingness to go elsewhere. However, it must also be said that if there is a request it will be heard because in football, respect is needed.”

Juventus are reportedly considering a late bid for Atletico Madrid star Diego Godin, a move which could allow Rugani to leave Allianz Stadium this summer.

Juventus‘ defender Daniele Rugani has been linked to a move to Chelsea during this summer transfer window.

According to some reports in the last few days, the two clubs have agreed a fee of £35m for the transfer, but, Rugani’s agent Daniele Torchia explained the deal is not yet done and one of the main reason is the uncertainty surrounding the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as the new Chelsea manager.

It is obvious to say that the Sarri question must first be resolved, then proceed with the negotiations and make them more or less concrete,” Torchia told Sportitalia.

Daniele Rugani’s agent Davide Torchia has played down talk of a move to Chelsea this summer.

The Juventus defender has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer amid links both to Arsenal and Chelsea.

“I know that nobody will believe me, but I met with Juventus sport director Paratici because it was already scheduled,” Torchia claimed.

“I didn’t know there was going to be this storm the day before. We talked about how to improve the player and what to do going forward, but we didn’t set up any negotiations.

“We can’t say for sure in life that the player is off the market completely, but we can confirm no formal offers have arrived.

“He is happy to be there and Juve are happy with him. It was purely a coincidence we had this meeting after those reports. I can assure you we did not talk about Chelsea.”

Rugani has made seven appearances for the Italian national team since making his debut in 2016.

Chelsea target Jorginho’s agent confirmed “Napoli and Manchester City continue to talk, but we’ll have to see if Carlo Ancelotti wants him or not.”

The midfielder is hot property on the transfer market this summer and has been given a €60m price-tag: the Italian international himself claimed a couple of weeks ago that former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri was keen to bring him with him to London, should have he signed for Chelsea.

“Ancelotti was a real surprise, but football is dynamic and you turn over a new page quickly,”  the player’s agent, Joao Santos, told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“Today Jorginho is a Napoli player, he has not signed anything with anyone and Napoli have not negotiated a deal with anyone.

“However, Napoli and Manchester City continue to talk and discuss things calmly. We’ll see what happens in future.

“We’ll have to see if Ancelotti wants Jorginho or not, I don’t know what the situation is right now. The player is certainly appreciated by Pep Guardiola and many other coaches.

We’ll see what happens after the three Italy friendlies.”

If Maurizio Sarri were to take the Chelsea job, would Jorginho be more inclined to follow his former Napoli Coach?

“I don’t know about those negotiations. I can’t hypothesise a move along with Sarri to Chelsea because we don’t know yet whether that’ll happen or not.”

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata was pictured in Milan with his agent Juanma Lopez today.

The Blues forward, coming from a patchy first season at Stamford Brigde, was in Italy to meet Juventus sport director Fabio Paratici, with whom he had lunch on Wednesday.

Morata, whose pregnant wife is Italian, would love to return to Serie A, as he probably lived the best two campaigns of his career while at Juventus between 2014 and 2016.

The Spanish striker, who was let down by his exclusion from the Spain squad who will travel to Russia for World Cup 2018, moved to London from Real Madrid in a £ 70m deal last summer and Juventus would be keen to sign him back for a similar fee.

The talks have just started.
