Chelsea defender David Luiz, when asked about the importance of his teammates in a three-man defense, told the club’s official website: “We have to be more tactical, reflect more, find the right position and call the line up and down,”

“I have the best job in the world and it doesn’t matter which system we play, – the former Paris Saint-Germain star, who came back to Stamford Bridge last summer - You need to do what’s required in your particular role but I want to do my best for the team, not for myself. I have to be alert, to look around and to cover because it’s important for me to have that vision”.

About teammates Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill: ‘I think Azpi and Gary have more opportunities on the ball than me in this formation but against Leicester I was able to get on the ball a lot. When you play with three in defence you try to play out from the back into midfield so they can create more”.

“I have that side of my personality, to be a leader and to organise. A leader needs to be available to give something for others. I’ve had that in my character since I was young but of course I understand that now there is a responsibility, as somebody who has been here before and played many games, to use the experiences I’ve picked up in my career to help the youngsters.”

About Victor Moses‘ impressive start to the season, David Luiz added: “Mr Conte gives us a lot of information in order for us to understand our role on the pitch and Victor has taken it all in,”

“He’s playing very well and when he gets the ball he’s so strong, he has quality, pace and he can go one against one. He can also defend very well because he has all the attributes, he just needs to get that defensive sense, which he’s learning, because he’s never played in that position before. He’s doing very well and I’m really happy for him because he deserves it, he’s a great guy.”

The 29-year-old started his European career in Lisbon with Benfica, then moved to London and Paris, now Geezer is an ‘englishman’ again.

‘I’m a lucky guy because I’ve lived in Lisbon, Paris and now London again, three great cities, where there’s fantastic entertainment, so much to do here and I’m living close to where I was before”.

“My family will be coming over in December because they are taking care of my charity back in Brazil right now, so they will spend Christmas with me. It will be nice to have my mum, dad, sister and nephews with me, I’ll be very happy. They are my oxygen.”

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte praised Blues’ stars Eden Hazard and Diego Costa ahead of Everton clash, which is set for today at Stamford Bridge.

“Now Eden Hazard is playing more close to the goal and he is participating more in offensive situations, – the manager said - This is better for him, this type of system that permits him to stay in these positions where he can finish easier compared with last year, and for this reason I want him to continue this way”.

“We know his talent, he is fantastic player, and I have found out here he is a player working very well without the ball and working very well with the team”.

“I think the work of our strikers, it is the same with Diego, is appreciated by their team-mates. They are working very well for the team.”

Conte is not able to predict yet whether this will prove to be Hazard’s best season so far, but what is certain is he is pleased he can name our former player of the year in his side, rather than have to make plans to try to contain him as an oppoent, as he had to do on more than one occasion in the past. Now Conte is doing all he can to make sure the 25-year-old reaches his full potential.

Conte added: “I have experience in my career that when you have a great talent, it is important to support that with physical preparation and good organisation in the tactical aspect, and if you find all of these, you are a fantastic player”.

“With only talent, it is very difficult to be the best. You must have good physical condition and good organisation in the team; all of these to help talent to become a complete footballer”.

“For the coach it is very important to find the best solution for all the players to improve them. You start with the system, find the right one to exploit the characteristics of your players, and also you have to find the right solution to work to improve the physical condition of your players”.

Then, the Italian manager ended: “In modern football you must have the talent and technique but you must run with intensity. You must have strength for the contact. For sure football has changed and here in England you play with supersonic intensity.”

Chelsea defender David Luiz spoke ahead of Everton clash and told the club’s official website he is enjoying his return to Stamford Bridge.

“The last games are in the past so we need to prepare ourselves for the next battle, – the Brazil international claimed – It will be a tough game, Everton have some amazing players and a good philosophy but we must play our football and be careful in possession.

“I hope we can continue to play well and win games because it gives you a good feeling, you need to prepare and plan for each game in the best way,”

“Sometimes, when you play away, you need to understand that the opposition might have more possession of the ball”.

Antonio Conte‘s side sinked Southampton at St. Mary’s stadium last week with a strong and brilliant performance showed on the pitch: “The home team can often be more excited playing in front of their own fans so you have to play with intelligence and wait, like a sniper, for an opportunity”.

“Southampton was that type of game. We found ourselves in good positions and we shot to kill”.

“It’s important to understand when you need to play that type of game and when you need to impose yourself and be more dominant. For me, the key is to try to understand the best plan for each specific game.”

Blues boss Antonio Conte revealed today that the 23-year-old started to train with the first team again in this week, but he’s not ready for top football games yetÑ

“This week Cesc Fabregas and Kurt Zouma started to train with the team,” the Italian manager claimed.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte doesn’t want to under-estimate Everton and warn his team about the dangers the [Ronald] Koeman‘s side can cause them in tomorrow afternoon’s clash:

“They’re very dangerous. Last season we didn’t beat Everton. It’s important to remember this, me and my players, and our fans. Tomorrow I am waiting for the great support of our fans.

“We know we face a strong team with many good players, fast players, with good technique. We must pay great attention. We have worked very well this week to prepare for this kind of game against this type of team.

“When you win, and above all win playing good football, it’s important for the confidence. You come to Cobham with the right spirit and with a good will to work very hard. You support the fatigue better when you win. Also you enjoy the football you are playing. Now, I repeat, we must continue.”

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte believes that ‘is too early to talk’ about a possible departure of Cesc Fabregas in January, since the Spaniard is being heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

“I repeat: Cesc is Chelsea’s player and I am very happy to have him in my squad – Conte said speaking at press conference today – Now it is important to find the right form to come back with us (after his injury) and then stay with us and the team.”

“In every squad there are players who arrive at the end of their contract and then together the club will take a decision,”

Then Conte added: “The most important thing is that Mikel is working very well. I am pleased with his work rate.”
