Chelsea winger Victor Moses has confirmed new boss Antonio Conte ‘is a great manager’.

Speaking about the Italian man, the 25-year-old Nigeria international told the club’s official website: “He is a great manager if you look at what he did at Juventus and he is a very passionate manager and he wants the best from us,”

“You could see in pre-season how hard everyone was working. I think he is the right man for this club”.

“He came in and changed quite a few things and everyone was expecting that. The food regime and the training have changed and he wants everyone to gel together as a team. He speaks to every player and wants the best from each and every one of us, and he will get the best out of us”.

Conte wanted Moses to stay despite he struggled to get playing time in the last seasons and the winger claimed: “We appreciate that and it will help us in the long run,”

‘We know what is expected of us this season and we will hopefully do our best. It is going to be a hard league and we have to take every game seriously. Every one is a must-win game for us”.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes Chelsea were dominating their last game against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday despite the final score was a disappointing 2-2 draw.

“I saw the whole 90 minutes of the last game vs Swansea and they could have won that game – Klopp said at the press conference ahead of next Premier League game at Stamford Bridge on Friday – Good moment, strong, competitive, that’s how it is with teams like this: the champion of two years ago. Last season was not a Chelsea season”.

When asked if Pep Guardiola is better than the new Chelsea manager, Klopp revealed: “That’s not the important thing, he’s a successful manager. He was the Pep Guardiola of Turin. He created a special style of play. He was very successful there and with the national team. Quite impressive, but I don’t play against Antonio Conte.”
