According to The Sun, goalkeeper Eduardo wants to leave Chelsea.

The article suggests that the Portuguese keeper, who signed a contract extension this summer, believed to be Thibaut Courtois back-up, but then Chelsea reached a deal with Willy Caballero and now Eduardo fears he could lose his place in the Portugal team who will play the World Cup next summer in Russia.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has once again flatly denied that he is the player responsible for leading a mutiny against Jose Mourinho at Chelsea’s dressing room. The Spain international has revealed that the Special One is as frustrated as the playing squad with their current results.

Fabregas told Radio COPE :

“Those of us who have been most criticised are [Eden] Hazard, Diego Costa and myself, but you get used to it,”

“We’re not doing well in the league at the moment. Last year we lost four games all season and this season we have lost seven already.”

“But Mourinho is a winner, when he loses he goes home p***ed off like I do.”

“The results at Chelsea aren’t what we would want and don’t reflect the level of our play.”

“I feel good in myself, but when the results aren’t coming everything is negative and everything looks bad.”

“Mourinho trusts us and we trust him.”

”I backed him in a very difficult time.”

According to reports in England, Chelsea have reportedly taken goalkeeper Marco Amelia on trial and are really close to sign the former AC Milan player on a short-term basis.

Due to the fact, that Thibaut Courtois will be excluded from playing till Christmas, Jose Mourinho is looking for an experienced back up for Asmir Begovic.

Mourinho said :

“We need a goalkeeper now, not in January,” 

“Helton has a contract with Porto and would only be available in January. By then, Courtois will be available again.”

Daily Mail reveals, that the Special One has decided to invite 33-year-old Amelia to Cobham to take a look at the free agent.

Former Spain international Gaizka Mendieta has no doubts, that his countryman Cesc Fabregas will soon return to his peak.

Chelsea midfielder since some time is the object of criticism from sports commentators and the Blues fans.  After four matches, Chelsea have earned just four points which is way below the level of current Premier League champions.

That is why former Spain international Mendieta, has decided to urge Chelsea midfielder to overcome his slow start to the season.

Mendieta said :

“It’s difficult to be 100 per cent all of the time in a team that is set up in a way… and all the responsibility that he has,”

“You can’t always be at your peak, sometimes you’re not going to be at your best level, but he still has a lot to offer to the team.”
