After helping Chelsea go through FA Cup last 16 with a goal in the 3-0 against Sheffield Wednesday Callum Hudson-Odoi spoke about his future.

The Blues talent has recently been linked to Bayern Munich, who would like to sign him before this window transfer window ends:

Asked if that was his last appearance in a Chelsea shirt, Hudson-Odoi told the BBC:

“I don’t know, I can’t say. But you know I just keep working hard and you never know what happens.”

He was then asked if he’d spoken to Bayern Munich at all, he added:

“I can’t say. I haven’t, I haven’t chatted.”

Speaking about the goal he scored, he said:

“I think that’s definitely one of my highlights. It was a great game today. I think Andreas [Christensen] found me well, saw the run and it was nice to top it off with a goal as well.”

Turning to man-of-the-match Willian, who was also being interview, he joked: “I learnt it from him as well!”

In the last few days, Bayern Munich have expressed their interest in signing Chelsea‘s youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The Blues defender Antonio Rudiger has revealed his team-mate asked him about the German giants, while now Marcos Alonso urges Hudson-Odoi to stay at Stamford Bridge as the Premier League is the best league to develop as a player.

He is a good player, but he is very young.” Marcos Alonso told Sky Sports. “He needs to have patience and to be hungry and fight for a place in this team. That is all he needs to do. He has all the conditions to be a great player. Now it is up to him to fight for a place here or try to find more minutes somewhere else.”

The Spaniard also claims especially Bayern Munich is not the right place for his young teammate. “Bayern Munich? We are Chelsea, another great team. The Premier League is the most competitive league in the world. I don’t know why someone would go to Bayern Munich.” Marcos Alonso underlines.

Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has confirmed their interest in signing Callum Hudson-Odoi after announcing Benjamin Pavard will join the club at the end of current season with Bundesliga side Stuttgart.

It has been reported Bayern Munich have placed a fourth bid in the region of £35m to land the 18-year-old to Allianz ArenA in January.

Hudson-Odoi, who featured in last night’s defeat against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium, is contracted at Stamford Bridge until June 2020.

Salihamidzic said: “All I can say about Callum Hudson-Odoi is that I think he’s a good player and he’s a player who we have a great interest in. Anything else, we will see.

“In my opinion, he’s a player who would fit in well at our club. He’s got unbelievable qualities. He’s good at dribbling and has pace. In my opinion, he’s a player we would definitely like to have. Let’s see what happens. “

Chelsea 18-year-old starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi will start for the Blues in the Carabao Cup semi-final against Tottenham Hotspur tonight.

Bayern Munich have reportedly placed a fourth and improved offer to land the striker in the January transfer window. However, Chelsea stand firm and the Bundesliga champions have already three bids rejected by the Premier League giants

Hudson-Odoi, who replaces injured Alvaro Morata against Spurs, spoke ahead of the clash and insisted this will be ‘definitely the biggest game’ of his career so far.

He told Chelsea’s official website: “It’s definitely the biggest game of my career so far. I am fully focused on the game. We are all determined to work our hardest out there.

“Hopefully there’ll be a great atmosphere. It’s a big stadium that everybody dreams of playing at”.

“It’s going to be a big game for us and hopefully we can get the result”.

For tomorrow’s game vs Nottingham Forest, Sarri’s assistant coach Gianfranco Zola has ruled out Willian, Olivier Giroud and Pedro.

The injuries will leave space for some of the young players”. Zola explained. “There are players who have played five or six games in a short period of time, so it will be necessary to do a little bit of rotation”.

One of the player who will be included in the starting XI will be Callum Hudson-Odoi: “Callum Hudson-Odoi is back in full training. Yesterday he trained with the whole team and he is certainly available”. Zola revealed. “It is very much looking like he is going to play.” Not only he is going to play tomorrow, but the youngster will stay for a long time at Stamford Bridge:

I know Bayern Munich are very interested in him but we are as well. We have proposed him a contract for quite a while so we are waiting to see what the player thinks about that. We certainly value him as a player. I know he has not played probably as much as he wanted but this is down to the quality of the players he has in front of him”. the assistant coach went on. “But I have already told him it is not a waste of time. It is a time you can really get better and I hope Callum is using this time in a wise way as it will do good things to his football, and hopefully he will come to sign the contract with us. We believe he can have a bright future here”.

On the other hand, Cesc Fabregas destiny could probably be different: “Cesc has always been a wonderful professional ever since I have been here. I don’t know to be honest”. Zola said. “You are asking me a question I wish could answer. His contract runs out in six months and I don’t know how it is going to go but despite that, I know if he plays tomorrow he will as usual deliver a good performance.”

Callum Hudson-Odoi remains a clear target for Bayern Munch as the Bundesliga giants have returned with a new and improved bid for the 18-year-old starlet earlier this week, according to reports in England.

It has been reported Bayern had two bids (of £15m and £20m) rejected from Chelsea before placing a new and improved one, worth around £30m plus add-ons.

It is understood Hudson-Odoi’s contract is due to expire in June 2020, with less than 18 months remaining on his current deal.

Chelsea have confirmed on Wednesday the signing of Christian Pulisic, who will spend the next six months at Borussia Dortmund before joining the Blues on a £58m move.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has revealed he could consider to leave the club this summer as Real Madrid are plotting a club-record £200m move to land the Belgium international to Santiago Bernabeu.

He has told Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur: “After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different.

“Certainly after this World Cup. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision – if they want to let me go. You know my preferred destination.”

“We all know that I have always felt good at Chelsea, so…. I have been linked with all the big clubs in the past. Barcelona? Next week it will be Bayern. No I’m joking. You all know what my preferred destination is”.

It is understood Chelsea are closing in on a £35m move for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, with also Aleksandr Gloving interested in a move to Stamford Bridge under newly-appointed manager Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian man, who put the pen to paper on a deal with the Blues on Friday, is expected to have provided a full list of targets as the summer transfer window close for Premier League clubs at 5pm on Thursday August 9.

Eden Hazard has warned Chelsea to sign players who will let them challenging in the title race if they want him to commit his future to the club.

Hazard has two years left on his present contract and is considering whether to sign a lucrative extension that would keep him at Stamford Bridge for the remaining prime years of his career.

The Belgian star, anyway, is frustrated by Chelsea’s failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League and, as we explained also yesterday, he is also a real target for clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain.

Asked what it would take to stay with Chelsea in the long-term, Hazard replied:
“I’m waiting for new players next season. We will see.

“I want good players because I want to win next season the Premier League. I want to win a lot of things.”

This would be Hazard’s last big contract and the forward has no intention of rushing his decision, despite reports that Chelsea are willing to pay him around £300,000 ( € 430,000 ) per week.

That’s why I’m taking my time. It’s something big. I need to think of a lot of things. One thing for sure is I’m happy here.

“We can’t be in the Champions League next season so we need to win trophies. That’s it.

“I say many times before I think it is not my last game. It’s the last game of the season, that’s it.

“After the World Cup then we will be ready for the next season.

“But for me, in my mind, I’m here, I have one week to play now. Saturday is a massive game. I just want to win for me and them also.”

Hazard reveals the uncertainty surrounding Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has had no impact on the squad.

Conte is expected to leave at the end of the season after his relationship with the club’s board was ruined by their failure to back his transfer plans.

“We don’t think about that. We’re just focused on the game,” Hazard claimed.

“We have one game to play and then we’ll see what happens at the end of the season.”

“I need two more trophies, Champions League and FA Cup. That’s it,” Hazard said about the trophies he is missing in his personal cabinet.

“We’re Chelsea. We need trophies at the end of the season.

“At the moment we have nothing. We have not qualified for the Champions League. So the season has been bad.

“If we can’t be in the Champions League we need the trophy.

“It’s up to us to save the season with the FA Cup. I’ve never won the FA Cup. I hope this year is for me and for Chelsea. We will give everything.”

Chelsea and Hazard will face their former boss José Mourinho this weekend and the Portuguese has been criticised for conservative tactics this season, but Hazard expects United to pose a stern test.

“We know how he will play. We all know that. That’s why we need to be ready,” he concluded.

According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, the Belgian doesn’t want to stay at Stamford Bridge because he reckons one season out of the European most important competition could ruin his career.

Don Balon reports that the winger feels it’s time to move on and there are several teams ready the 27-year-old: Manchester City are among the teams that have enquired about his situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

PSG and Bayern Munich have also asked to be kept informed about Hazard’s plans, while Real Madrid are still linked with the Belgium star.
