Chelsea star Eden Hazard has revealed he could consider to leave the club this summer as Real Madrid are plotting a club-record £200m move to land the Belgium international to Santiago Bernabeu.

He has told Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur: “After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different.

“Certainly after this World Cup. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision – if they want to let me go. You know my preferred destination.”

“We all know that I have always felt good at Chelsea, so…. I have been linked with all the big clubs in the past. Barcelona? Next week it will be Bayern. No I’m joking. You all know what my preferred destination is”.

It is understood Chelsea are closing in on a £35m move for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani, with also Aleksandr Gloving interested in a move to Stamford Bridge under newly-appointed manager Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian man, who put the pen to paper on a deal with the Blues on Friday, is expected to have provided a full list of targets as the summer transfer window close for Premier League clubs at 5pm on Thursday August 9.

Eden Hazard has warned Chelsea to sign players who will let them challenging in the title race if they want him to commit his future to the club.

Hazard has two years left on his present contract and is considering whether to sign a lucrative extension that would keep him at Stamford Bridge for the remaining prime years of his career.

The Belgian star, anyway, is frustrated by Chelsea’s failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League and, as we explained also yesterday, he is also a real target for clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain.

Asked what it would take to stay with Chelsea in the long-term, Hazard replied:
“I’m waiting for new players next season. We will see.

“I want good players because I want to win next season the Premier League. I want to win a lot of things.”

This would be Hazard’s last big contract and the forward has no intention of rushing his decision, despite reports that Chelsea are willing to pay him around £300,000 ( € 430,000 ) per week.

That’s why I’m taking my time. It’s something big. I need to think of a lot of things. One thing for sure is I’m happy here.

“We can’t be in the Champions League next season so we need to win trophies. That’s it.

“I say many times before I think it is not my last game. It’s the last game of the season, that’s it.

“After the World Cup then we will be ready for the next season.

“But for me, in my mind, I’m here, I have one week to play now. Saturday is a massive game. I just want to win for me and them also.”

Hazard reveals the uncertainty surrounding Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has had no impact on the squad.

Conte is expected to leave at the end of the season after his relationship with the club’s board was ruined by their failure to back his transfer plans.

“We don’t think about that. We’re just focused on the game,” Hazard claimed.

“We have one game to play and then we’ll see what happens at the end of the season.”

“I need two more trophies, Champions League and FA Cup. That’s it,” Hazard said about the trophies he is missing in his personal cabinet.

“We’re Chelsea. We need trophies at the end of the season.

“At the moment we have nothing. We have not qualified for the Champions League. So the season has been bad.

“If we can’t be in the Champions League we need the trophy.

“It’s up to us to save the season with the FA Cup. I’ve never won the FA Cup. I hope this year is for me and for Chelsea. We will give everything.”

Chelsea and Hazard will face their former boss José Mourinho this weekend and the Portuguese has been criticised for conservative tactics this season, but Hazard expects United to pose a stern test.

“We know how he will play. We all know that. That’s why we need to be ready,” he concluded.

According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, the Belgian doesn’t want to stay at Stamford Bridge because he reckons one season out of the European most important competition could ruin his career.

PSG and Bayern Munich have also asked to be kept informed about Hazard’s plans, while Real Madrid are still linked with the Belgium star.

GLASGOW, SCOTLAND - OCTOBER 31: Munich player Arturo Vidal reacts during the UEFA Champions League group B match between Celtic FC and Bayern Muenchen at Celtic Park on October 31, 2017 in Glasgow, United Kingdom.

Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes dismisses Arturo Vidal’s links with Chelsea.

The Chile international was said to be in the Blues’ radar for this transfer window, due also to his lack of playing time in the Bundesliga side.

But Heynckes claimed the former Juventus player is not for sale:

“There’s been no contact between Chelsea and Bayern,” the German coach said in a news conference on Saturday.

“We won’t sell Arturo Vidal or any other player during the winter market.

“Arturo is a fantastic player, I have a great respect for Arturo, and we spent many years in Juventus together.

“If we go to war, I’d always want him with me.”

According to Soccer Laduma, Atletico Madrid are ready to sell Yannick Carrasco during the January transfer window.

Chelsea targeted the player during the summer, but they didn’t complete the move, because Atletico’s manager Simeone didn’t want to sell the Belgian.

Now things are different in the Spanish team and Atletico Madrid are ready to sell Carrasco with Chelsea still interested and Bayern Munich also who are keen on the player.

Tomorrow night Chelsea will face Atletico Madrid at Stamford Bridge in their last Champions League group stage match.

The Blues have already earned a spot in the Last 16 of the competition, but they want to defeat the Spanish side in order to secure themselves also the top place in the group’s table.

I think this game is important because we are playing against Atletico Madrid and they have shown in the past to be an important team in this tournament,” – manager Antonio Conte told Chelsea official website –  “Now there is a risk they will be eliminated, but we have to play a good game, to improve our confidence, and because we want to reach the first position in our group. But if you arrive first, you could then get teams like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Juventus. It doesn’t change a lot if you arrive first or second. The most important thing is to reach the next stage, but for our mission and our confidence, it would be right to win and arrive first.”

Former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti was sacked by Bayern Munich last week: the Italian coach didn’t meet the club expectations for the beginning of this season and ex Bavarian manager Jupp Heynckes, who won the treble with the German side in 2013, was appointed to take of the team until the end of the season.

Speaking about his experience in Germany and about his future Ancelotti revealed in which country he’s not keen to coach next:

Bayern Munich belong to the past. Sometimes it can happen to be sacked, there is nothing to be sorry for. I’ve always respected every player I’ve coached. As a manager I have to play 11 players and bench seven of them. It is up to the player and to the club to accept the manager’s decision.”

“I don’t know if I will return to Serie A or try another experience abroad. For sure I am not going to train in China.”

AC Milan boss Vincenzo Montella has recently – jokingly – revealed that Ancelotti can now become his assistant. Here’s how Ancelotti replied: “He could my assistant and vice-versa. We could coach one game each, we only have to find a team that will allow us to do it.”

Montella is on the brink of being sacked after 3 defeats in the first 7 Serie A games of the season, and next game will be the derby against Inter on Sunday 15, when the Italian championship will restart after international break.

Ancelotti was the first name the media mentioned as a possible Montella replacement, but the former Blues boss claimed he has no intention to coach again during the current season:

“I will remain on holiday for the next ten months, I don’t want to take any other job before June. I respect Montella, Di Francesco and Ventura, I hope they will win all the games until the end of the season. I still want to coach club teams not national teams.”

Former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti was sacked by Bayer Munich yesterday, as we reported.

“It’s a pity for Carlo, – Blues’ manager Antonio Conte said when asked about his relationship with the compatriot – Also because I know him very well and everyone knows his value, he’s one of the best coaches in the world”.

“You know very well that our job is like this, in our job results are very important, and when you don’t get them, you risk, even if you are doing a good job. The result is a part of our job, I think we stay here to talk about this, but everything depends on the result”.

Bayern are currently 3rd in their league with 13 points, 3 points behind Borussia Dortmund.

“I spoke to him in Singapore and he was happy to work with those players. I don;t know if he will be back in the Premier League, I think now he will stop for this season, when you are managing of a great team you spend a lot of energies mentally and pshically, so if you can have time for yourself, you spend it to recharge the batteries”.

Bayern are currently 3rd in their league with 13 points, 3 points behind Borussia Dortmund.
