Shocking announcement from a Chelsea rival, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

Speaking to the NBC the ex Barcelona coach announced he is close to end his manager career:

“I will be in Manchester for at least other three years, but I feel the process to end my career has already started.

“I won’t coach until I will be 60-65 years old, I am sure I am getting close to my manager’s career end.”

Will Manchester City and Premier League be the last team coached by the Spanish manager or Pep will change his mind in the next three years?

According to rumours coming from France Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants to bring PSG star Marco Verratti to Stamford Bridge.

The Italian international doesn’t get along really well with new Paris Saint Germain coach Unai Emery and already expressed his desire to leave the French side.

Anyway, Chelsea wouldn’t be the only team interested in Verratti, as the Italian midfielder is followed also by Juventus, Inter and Bayern Munich.

Ex Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti, anyway, dismissed the rumours about an immediate deal:

“Juve or Bayern for Verratti? I wouldn’t know. Agents are always playing little games to raise the prices,” the Italian coach said to ESPN.

“We are not planning the future yet, there will be time for that. Getting players from a top club like PSG is hard, as you saw with how it went with [Blaise] Matuidi. Juventus have [Miralem] Pjanic anyway so I don’t think they need Verratti. They are different, but I think they can fill the same roles.”

Thibaut Courtois plans to move from Chelsea soon.

The Belgian goalkeeper revealed he has no intention to close his career at Stamfor Bridge:

“I don’t think I will close my career at Chelsea. I didn’t have a favourite club while growing up. In Spain I was following Real Madrid and Barcelona; in Germany Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund; in England Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea; in Italy Juventus and Milan. There wasn’t a favourite club among these, but I’ve always wanted to play in those clubs.

“It’s not necessary to play in one of those clubs, I am already in a grea team, Chelsea, that I’ve always admired, but we have to see what future brings,” he claimed in an interview to Sporza.

Former manager and now agent Rob Groener believes his ex client Marko Arnautovic should move to Chelsea if the opportunity presents itself.

Arnautovic, 27, joined Stoke City in 2013 and impressed last season, scoring 13 goals and providing 6 assists.

“I’d rather see him go to Chelsea. There he could count on more support,” Groener said.

“The problem was in my eyes that he had the wrong managers. He needs a father figure; someone who works him but also accepts him. Potentially he is a player for Chelsea or Bayern Munich.

The forward is currently participating at EURO 2016 with Austria but his debut was not good: they lost 2-0 to Hungary and Arnautovic wasn’t able to make an impact on the game.
