Juventus full-back Alex Sandro is soon set to sign for Chelsea, according to our exclusive sources.

Bianconeri CEO Beppe Marotta revealed that the Italian side rejected an offer believed to be in the region of £ 50m for the Brazilian player from Chelsea, but our source told us Blues boss Antonio Conte wants to sign him no matter what and that sooner or later he will sign for the Stamford Bridge side.

Marotta also claimed that Juventus are not intentioned to sell their best players, but this is probably a way to ask Chelsea to increase their offer for Conte’s first target to revamp his squad to chase Champions League, Alex Sandro.

Juventus are reportedly lining up a £17m bid for Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic, according to Sportitalia.

After several injuries during the season – Claudio Marchisio and Sami Khedira above all – the Old Lady has decided to strengthen the midfield in view of next season having already landed Miralem Pjanic from Roma.

It is understood Matic is Massimiliano Allegri‘s top target and Juventus sport director Giuseppe Marotta is working on a deal to sign the Serbia international, who is under contract with Chelsea until 2019.

In recent weeks there have been plenty of managers linked with the Chelsea hot seat, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri being one of the favourites.

However, the Juventus director Beppe Marotta has played down any reports that the Italian will be moving anywhere this summer. He considers his relationship to be good with Allegri and doesn’t see a move to be necessary, for both club or manager.

“We have a great rapport with Allegri.

“Now the crucial moment of the season is coming up, so we should focus on that.

“In any case, contracts are not as important as the rapport between people. With Allegri the conditions are all there to continue.

“The team is doing well and improving a great deal.”

Sami Khedira spent five season at Real Madrid

Juventus director Beppe Marotta confirmed that the Italian club will sign German midfielder Sami Khedira, who was also a Chelsea target during this transfer window.

Marotta claimed: “We are very close to Sami Khedira and will announce it officially when pen is put to paper.

“We moved swiftly and tenaciously because he has everything we were looking for.

“It is a winning group and we took the opportunity to further raise the quality level.”

Khedira is set to earn a reported £2.85m-a-year in Turin despite his recent injury problems, who made him having a very few game-time in his last two seasons at Real Madrid, that he joined in 2010 when Chelsea boss José Mourinho was in charge.
