Andreas Christensen was impressive on the pitch against Manchester United last time out. The Denmark international, who spent two seasons on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach, believes he’s now more prepared than before to play for Chelsea on a regular basis.

He told ChelseaTV: “In our Champions League groups, Moenchengladbach were very unlucky to get Man City, Barcelona, Juventus, but Man United is one of the best teams now in the Premier League so for me, in my career, this was one of the biggest games”.

“In the Champions League you feel the pressure even though Moenchengladbach were underdogs. Just playing against some big teams helps you prepare for the pressure. It helps a lot“.

Christensen is set to face Republic of Ireland in the World Cup qualification play-off legs this week: “I don’t think you can ever be too comfortable about these games, it is a play-off and a lot is at risk”,

“Both teams are going to try to do their best and it is going to be two very, very tough games. So I don’t think we can be too confident but I think we are a team and the results we got at the end of our group stage, we feel confident and hopefully we can progress”.

Eckhard Krautzun, who worked with Jurgen Klopp in Mainz is deeply convinced that former Borrussia coach wait for an opportunity to take over Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp shocked everybody this spring when he announced his step down as a result of a very dissapointing season in Dortmund.

Short after his resignation the German coach was linked with Liverpool or AC Milan, however he decided to cut off the speculations saying that he wants to take some brake from coaching. But according to Krautzun words, Jurgen Kloop hopes to lead Manchester United one day.  Due to the fact that the position of the trainer at the Old Trafford is occupied by Louis van Gaal, Klopp will have to wait for a while for his dreamed chance.

“But at this moment the job is taken.  And since we spoke about United: He once told me, that one day, when it does not fit with Dortmund anymore, Manchester United would be his club.” said Krautzun.

Former Klopp’s associate is sure that his friend would fit the Premier League.

“Klopp would fit perfectly to an English club that is well lead and well organised. One which has a very good board of directors.

Interestingly Krautzun is sure that Jurgen Klopp without any doubts would not be keen on working in Chelsea.

“A club with one person reigning, like Chelsea, would not be right for him.”

Luckily the Blues have Jose Mourinho and definately are not thinking about replacing the Special One with anybody.
