Willian scored his third goal of the season in Chelsea‘s win at Turf Moor vs Burnley.

The Brazilian winger believes he and his teammates played one of their best games so far in their Premier League campaign.

I think we enjoyed the game and we played very well,” Willian told Chelsea’s official website. “From the beginning they started very well. In the first 10 minutes we coped with the pressure and we were in control. Then we had the ball, we tried to just play, move the ball and have possession. I think we played a great game.”

Willian also claims that the fact a lot of players are performing well and can compete for a place in the Starting XI is one of Chelsea’s secrets: “For sure it’s good for us,” he added, “We have players who are all playing very well and it’s good to have players performing like that.”

Before speaking about his side’s 0-4 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri offered words of sympathy towards Leicester City and Srivaddhanaprabha‘s family.

“Before speaking about football, I want to say that I am really sorry about what happened in Leicester” Sarri said.

“For the family, for the club, for the players.”

Leicester have confirmed earlier tonight club’s owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was among the five people killed in Saturday’s helicopter crash.

Chelsea earned their fourth away victory in the Premier League season from five games so far. Except for the goalless draw at West Ham, Maurizio Sarri‘s men were capable of scoring 12 goals, conceding just one against Newcastle United.

Alvaro Morata was among the goalscorers following his late goal against Southampton in Chelsea’s latest away clash, as well as regenerated Ross Barkley. An unstoppable Ruben Loftus-Cheek cleared the way, leading to the 0-4 victory at Turf Moor having scored a hat-trick in the Europa League game against BATE Borisov on Thursday.

Chelsea are currently enjoying a 2nd place on the Premier League table, despite Man City still have one game in hand.

Despite a clear-cut win at Turf Moor Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri claims he still misses Eden Hazard, that today couldn’t play because of a fitness issue:

“I want Hazard in every match if it’s possible because we have a lot of very good players but Hazard I think is something different,” the Italian coach said.

“I am very happy because the team was able to score seven goals in two matches without Hazard. It’s a very good sign. I want Eden as soon as possible. I don’t know for Wednesday but I hope for Sunday.”

Ross Barkley in particular has stood out in recent games and, after earning a point against Manchester United last weekend, the England midfielder played a superb pass for Alvaro Morata’s goal before sending a 25-yard effort fizzing into the bottom corner.

“Barkley is doing very well in this period. He improved in the defensive phase, improved very much,” Sarri said.

“He improved his physical condition because the last season for him was really very difficult. He’s a very good player from the technical point of view. Now I think Ross is complete.”

It’s the seventh victory for Chelsea that continues to make fans smile and Sarri.

Alvaro Morata also laughed and cheered, opening the match at 22′ with a beautiful action. The Spaniard without ever losing sight of the ball, follows the companion until it breaks into the opposing defense and waits for the cross from Barkley before anticipating and beating Hart

The double was signed by Barkley at 57′ with a shot from outside the area with Kante’ complicity. Willian scores the blues triplet with a diagonal action, the Brazilian in diagonal from the left kicked from the distance. But it does not end because it is Loftus-Cheek R. to close the game by dropping the poker at 90 + 2

TEAM NEWS

Chelsea

– Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri will  face a decision over whether or not he starts Eden Hazard at Turf Moor today.

The Belgian international didn’t train with his teammates at Cobham on Friday after picking up a back injury in the draw against Manchester United last weekend.  Stating he was unsure if he would be fit for the trip at Burnely, Sarri may elect to not risk the 27-year-old with Pedro now back to full fitness.

However, he can bring Hazard on the bench so he can bring him on if the Blues need a goal providing he is fit.

Willian will start his ninth match on the trot for the Blues after impressing in midweek, with Alvaro Morata replacing Olivier Giroud upfront after another frustrating 90 minutes for the Frenchman.

–  Ruben Loftus-Cheek bagged a hat-trick on Thursday night but is not expected to start for the Blues.

– Despite impressing in the comfortable win over BATE, Cahill, Christensen, Davide Zappacosta and Emerson Palmieri will all drop out.

Jorginho rested in Europa League and he is expected to start today

Speaking during his pre-game press-conference ahead of tomorrow’s Europa League game vs Bate BorisovChelsea‘s manager Maurizio Sarri gave some injuries’ updates and confirmed two important players will miss the match.

Tomorrow Hazard is out for sure,” Sarri explained. “He has a back problem and we are trying to solve the problem for Sunday. It’s not very easy.”

Also Jorginho is very unlikely to feature in tomorrow’s Starting XI: The problem will be on Sunday, when we will play after 65 hours, so we need to change something,” Sarri added. “For example, Jorginho needs to rest now because he played for 90 minutes in the two matches with the national team, then for 90 minutes – or, better, for 100 minutes – in the last match”

So, with the Italian manager thinking about some rotation vs Bate, defender Andreas Christensen will find a place on the pitch after a long time: “Rotation in this period [is hard]. It is not easy for me to change the four defenders, because we have to do a lot of work”. Sarri confirmed. “Christensen will be on the pitch [on Thursday], I think. I don’t know for [Callum Hudson-] Odoi; [Ruben] Loftus-Cheek, maybe.”

The 21-year-old made his first senior appearance in the Premier League last season, against Burnley under Antonio Conte‘s management at Stamford Bridge.

Boga, who spent last season on loan at Birmingham City, joins the NeroVerdi in a deal worth around £3.5m and Chelsea will have buy-back option

Chelsea captain Gary Cahill, believes it is very difficult for the Blues to qualify for the next Champions League, as Tottenham and Liverpool are very good teams and it’s unlikely they will drop a lot of points in their last Premier League‘s games.

I mean, I am not being negative by any stretch, but the games are running out and the teams in there are very good, so if they do let it up it’ll be very, very surprising,” Cahill said after the Fa Cup semifinal vs Southampton“(There is) that gap and the point difference, but the obvious thing is all we can do is win our games. We got a decent result at Burnley and we just need to keep winning.”
