Tottenham are set to reject Chelsea bid for Danny Rose in the next days: the Blues are expected to offer £ 50m for the left back.

According to the Evening Standard the interest sprouted following an interview given by Rose in which his criticised Spurs’ wage structure, transfer business and ambition.

Chelsea are reportedly prepared to almost double the England international’s £65,000-a-week wages with an offer of £120,000-a-week.

But it is said to be unlikely that Spurs would consider negotiating with the Blues – who will be also their next rivals in the Premier League next Sunday – over a deal for Rose.

The 27-year-old expressed a determination to be paid what he is worth, indicating that is not currently the case, and a willingness to consider a move to another club if an offer came in.

Rose signed a new deal with Spurs that will run until 2021 last year and the North London club are not intentioned to sell him.

New Chelsea signing Alvaro Morata claims he wants to do something amazing at Stamford Bridge.

The former Real Madrid striker wants to make an impact in the West London club, who signed him from the Champions of Europe for £ 75m last month:

“I need to make an explosion in my career and I am at the perfect place, the perfect club to do that,” the Spaniard told Chelsea Magazine.

“I have all the things I need and if I can work hard, I can make good things happen.

“I have very big motivation, I always think like a winner and I want to win everything it is possible to win. Last season the team won the Premier League and now we can try to win it again, and maybe the Champions League.

“It is the perfect situation. I decided to play in the Premier League and I want to play in Antonio’s team. Now I need to work hard, score goals and play well for the team.

“There are very good players here and I think we can do something amazing. It is hard to leave Madrid but it is not so hard when you come to a club like Chelsea, with these players and with this coach.”

Chelsea star Diego Costa released a statement on his future and, as expected, it won’t be at Stamford Bridge:

“My destination is already made. I must return to Atletico Madrid,” Brazil’s Globoesporte quoted him.

“It turns out that there is the impasse that Chelsea does not want to release me. But I believe that this situation will be resolved now on my return to Spain.”

“I am waiting for Chelsea to set me free. Why won’t they let me go if they don’t want me?

“My desire is to go to Atletico. I’ve spoken to Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia. I said, ‘If the manager doesn’t want me, I want to go to Atletico Madrid’.

“They want me to be there training with the reserves. I wouldn’t be allowed access to the first-team dressing room and I would have no contact at all with the guys. I’m not a criminal! I don’t think it is fair after all I have done to be treated like that

Chelsea loanee Lucas Piazon, who is loaned to Fulham for the second consecutive season, unfortunately broke his leg in a game against Leeds United last night.

The Brazilian midfielder injured himself during the first half of the match, valid for the Championship, who ended 0-0.

Piazon will be probably off for a long period, this is how his current manager, Slavisa Jokanovic, commented the unlucky occurrence:

“We have probably lost Lucas Piazon because we believe it is a bad injury.

“It’s not a question about complaining – it can be bad luck or a tackle outside of the normal – but I’m really disappointed with what I heard from one of the referees who explained: ‘This is English football and this is completely legal.

“I am a 48-year-old man and I’ve never heard an ugly answer like I heard in this stadium.”

“I don’t see so well. I’m a little bit disappointed that I hear around me something so ugly.”

Eden Hazard and Tiemoué Bakayoko are back in training.

The two Chelsea players are recovering from serious injuries and missed the first two official games of the season, both defeats for the Blues: the one with Arsenal in the Community Shield and the Premier League debut with Burnley.

Antonio Conte ruled out both of them for Spurs game next weekend  but the pair was seen training with the rest of the squad in Cobham yesterday.

It’s possible they are not ready to play yet but to test their capacity to perform in a match, a special friendly game was arragend for tomorrow in Cobham: it will be the first time that Eden will be able to play since breaking his ankle in June, as well as Bakayoko since undergoing a knee surgery last May.

Should they show to be ready, they will be included in the Chelsea squad for Tottenham clash at Wembley next Sunday.
