According to SporX, Turkish side Fenerbache have shown interest in on-loan Chelsea forward Alexandre Pato.

Pato joined Chelsea on loan from Corinthians earlier this year, he made 2 appearances and he scored 1 goal from the penalty spot against relegated Aston Villa.

The Blues do have the option to sign the Brazilian striker at the end of this month when his loan expires, however, that does look unlikely because the London based club only signed Pato due to injuries in the attacking department which are now seemingly resolved.

It is believed that if Pato does return to Corinthians, they will do their best to sell the 26-year-old.

Chelsea defender and England international Gary Cahill believes it to be imperative that England top the group in the European Championship to give them the best chance of progressing through the competition, avoiding the better teams for as long as possible.

They face Slovakia tonight and a win would secure the top spot and a better draw in the next round.

If England were to win their group they would face third place finishers of groups A, C or D.

If they were to come second they would come up against the runners-up of group F.

A third place in the group and they would face the toughest task of the winners in groups C or D, which are currently Germany and Spain, obviously two of the better teams in the competition.

“To top the group gives us the best opportunity to move forward in the competition.

“So that is our goal and we are all aware of that. We want to finish top and we feel that we are good enough to do that – we just need to prove it against Slovakia.

“They need a result to stay in the competition as well and we know it’s going to be a hard game.”

Paul Pogba is one of the hottest star on the football market this summer.

The Juventus midfielder has been targeted by several top clubs around Europe, including Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.

But in this moment, another team seems in pole position: in fact, Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola admitted they are in an ealry negotiaton with the Champions of Europe:

“We are in an early negotiation with Real Madrid: he likes the club and he likes the manager, Zinedine Zidane.”

This could be, anyway, also a way to provoke a reaction in the other sides interested in Pogba, so to trigger an “auction” to sign the player, that is valued € 120m, around £ 100m.
