Antonio Conte wins Chelsea‘s last friendly ahead of the Premier League 2016/17 season beating 4-2 German side Werder Bremen at the Weser-Stadion.

Eden Hazard and Oscar gave Chelsea the lead after just 10 minutes, before Werder Bremen striker Claudio Pizarro converted to goal a penalty closing the gap.

Diego Costa, brilliantly assisted by Eden Hazard, managed to score the 1-3 a few minutes before the half time whistle.

Michy Batshuayi came on for Costa, Victor Moses took Hazard’s place and Willian made way for Pedro at 69′ in the second half.

Chelsea captain John Terry was replaced by Michael Hector after receiving a hard blow on the head from a Werder Bremen centre-back.

Oscar was replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who took his position as attacking-midfielder behind Michy Batshuayi.

With a few minutes left to go Cesc Fabregas linked up with Batshuayi, who went close to scoring the fourth goal, then Pedro got the ball and finalized brilliantly just before the final whistle.
