AC Milan are lining up a loan move to land Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic to Serie A, according to Gianlucadimarzio.com.

The Rossoneri and the Blues have reportedly entered talks to discuss a deal, which won’t depend on Alessio Romagnoli‘s potential move to Chelsea.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan with Ligue 1 side Monaco and new manager Antonio Conte would let him leave in order to get more game time and gain experience on a season-long loan.

The midfielder joined Chelsea in 2014 from Hajduk but didn’t play any official game wit the Blues and was loaned to Elche and Monaco before joining back the club this summer.

It wasn’t easy for them to go out to Brazil and win a medal so I’m very proud”.

Chelsea might consider another attempt to sign Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly as the Serie A side are reportedly closing in on a move for Manchester City centre-back Eliaquim Mangala.

The French international is a similar profile and for this reason Napoli might consider to let Koulibaly leave should Mangala join the Azzurri, according to The Times.

It is understood Chelsea had a £38m bid rejected by the Serie A side and Napoli have reportedly targeted Nikola Maksimovic as well as the Blues.

Anyway, manager Antonio Conte is considering also AC Milan star Alessio Romagnoli and Benfica defender Victor Lindelof as possible alternatives.

“We have a plan. We know this transfer market is very crazy – Conte said – We must be patient to find the right solutions for the team, to improve this squad. I’m very happy to work with these players. They show great commitment every day.”
