Chelsea are the latest club to show interest in Swansea City striker Andre Ayew.

Ayew is the clubs top goalscorer this season with 12 goals and his future at the Welsh club is uncertain with the likes of West Ham and Sunderland interested.

Ayew has stated that he is happy at Swansea and wants to remain in England.

“I feel good at Swansea. I count on staying in England.”

Chelsea and England centre-back Gary Cahill has expressed his happiness after defensive partner John Terry agreed to stay with Chelsea for another season.

John Terry‘s future at Stamford Bridge was under huge doubt until the very last minute when the club offered him a 1-year extension, which he accepted.

Cahill said that he and the Chelsea squad are very happy that Terry is staying.

“All the lads are very happy, I am sure the fans are very happy, so it is a great end to the season in that respect.

“But, for us, I just echo what everyone is thinking: A great boost for the club.

“Although it kind of dragged on for a while, it has been sorted now and we look forward to him being part of this squad like he has been for many, many years. It is fantastic news.”

Chelsea have recently bid for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly after Antonio Conte named the Senegal international as their top target for the summer, according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Napoli chairman De Laurentiis reportedly esteems Koulibaly’s ownership around €25m and Chelsea are expected to be ready to offer him a huge increase in wage, as the player is reportedly earning €800,000 a year at the Serie A club.

It is understood Conte is a great admirer of Koulibaly and Higuaìn, then wants to sign them to strengthen the Chelsea squad in view of next season.

Santos midfielder Lucas Lima has claimed he would be eager to join a big club and named Chelsea as one of the best teams in the world.

The 25-year-old has been picked up by Dunga in Brazil’s squad for the Copa America and is expected to leave his current club this summer.

He told Globo Esporte: “I don’t want to leave for any club. I want to play for a big team from Europe,” 

“There are many, such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, Chelsea.”

Willian and Oscar are teammates with Lima and could persuade him to move to Stamford Bridge.

Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will lead the Azzurri at Euro 2016 and is going to face the Republic of Ireland.

Speaking about Irish players, the 46-year-old reportedly told Irish Times: “The Irish players are maybe not well known in Italy but there are some very useful ones.”

“A player I like a lot, for example, is Southampton striker Shane Long and then there is Seamus Coleman at Everton and the central defender John O’Shea who is a very, very good player.” Conte added.

“No, no, you cannot tell me that I don’t know this Irish team.”

Chelsea full-back Cesar Azpilicueta told the club’s official website: “We won five league games at home and this is not enough. The results at home were disappointing.”

“We had a lot of draws we could have turned into victories and it is obviously vital to win at home to get the points.

“We are a strong team and we have to come back to winning ways next season.”

The Spaniard revealed his regret at the lack of victories at home during this season, which has been crucial in Chelsea failure to climb up the table after Josè Mourinho was sacked.

Spanish side’s sporting director Miguel Torrecilla reportedly told Goal: “He’s a player profile of a very big club,”

“When we get to renew it, hopefully, we could get a clause with the option, but I better not say the price because it would make you laugh.”

“It’s very difficult to find an option with clubs like Barcelona, Manchester, Chelsea, Real Madrid, it’s impossible.”

Higuain moved to Napoli for £34.5 million

Chelsea are weighing up a move for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, despite the Italian side’s request is esteemed around £65m, according to Squawka.

The 28-year-old has finished the season as the top scorer in the Serie A with 36 goals in 35 games and incoming manager Antonio Conte is expected to be keen on the Argentina international.

Chelsea officials have reportedly entered talks with Napoli last week to discuss a deal.

According to Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws Chelsea have made contact with their former striker Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku left Stamford Bridge for Everton for £28m in July 2014. He scored 45 goals in all the competitions played with Toffees in these last two seasons: 20 in 2014/2015 and 25 in the campaign that just ended.

Next Blues boss Antonio Conte would like to bring him back to Chelsea but Everton set a £ 65m fee to let him leave Goodison Park.

However, Lukaku has expressed strongly the desire to play next year’s Champions League but Chelsea are out of the European competitions next season.

Tottenham midfielder Moussa Dembélé was punished for appearing to eye-gouge Chelsea striker Diego Costa during the 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge on 2nd of May.

The Belgium international told SkySports: “I think it was just a very emotional game.”

“Things happen and my intention was not to do something bad to Costa”

“But it’s an emotional game, you react to things and now I have to learn from this.”
