According to Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws Chelsea have made contact with their former striker Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku left Stamford Bridge for Everton for £28m in July 2014. He scored 45 goals in all the competitions played with Toffees in these last two seasons: 20 in 2014/2015 and 25 in the campaign that just ended.

Next Blues boss Antonio Conte would like to bring him back to Chelsea but Everton set a £ 65m fee to let him leave Goodison Park.

However, Lukaku has expressed strongly the desire to play next year’s Champions League but Chelsea are out of the European competitions next season.

Tottenham midfielder Moussa Dembélé was punished for appearing to eye-gouge Chelsea striker Diego Costa during the 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge on 2nd of May.

The Belgium international told SkySports: “I think it was just a very emotional game.”

“Things happen and my intention was not to do something bad to Costa”

“But it’s an emotional game, you react to things and now I have to learn from this.”

“I’m not proud of this, it’s not in my habit to be that emotional.”

Chelsea are reportedly lining up a summer move for Everton superstars Romelu Lukaku and John Stones, according to Belgian newspaper HLN.

The paper claim the negotiations to sign the duo will be “difficult and tough” and this is the reason why the Blues have started them so early.

Lukaku might leave Goodison Park with Paris St. Germain, Bayern Munich and Juventus also reportedly keen on him, after his father confirmed his son is going to chose his new club before Euro2016.

Stones is reportedly eager to move from Everton to another Premier League side, with Manchester City and Chelsea interested in the highly rated centre-back.

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas spoke about John Terry after his captain accepted new one-year contract.

The Spaniard told Goal.com: “He has had a fantastic career for Chelsea. It is not easy nowadays to start your career somewhere and finish it at the same club.” 

“Very, very few players can say that, especially nowadays when everything is so tough and everyone demands so much from you,”

“he has dealt with it very, very well and won a lot of trophies so it is very good from him.”

Chelsea incoming manager Antonio Conte is keen on Napoli star Gonzalo Higuain, Paris St-Germain forward Edinson Cavani and Belgium international Romelu Lukaku, according to Don Balòn.

Higuain has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United and Arsenal.

Uruguay international Cavani has reportedly entered talks with Atletico Madrid far-back, but Chelsea might join the chase to sign him.

Lukaku is expected to leave Goodison Park before Euros 2016 after his father confirmed the club want to sell him for £65m.

Chelsea are ready to bid for Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup, who has been heavily linked with the Blues.

Istanbul side’s chairman Fikret Orman told TRT“Last season, Lazio made an approach for Oguzhan, but I didn’t want him to go there.”

“If Oguzhan goes to Europe, it should be to a team of the calibre of Chelsea.”

Orman has recently claimed the Turkish giants would not accept bids under €20m.

The former Arsenal player has scored 10 goals and made eight assists playing a key role for Besiktas this season.

Spain international winger Pedro spoke about his decision to join Chelsea from Barcelona last summer.

“I am really happy here and have no regrets about the decision I made to join Chelsea,” he told SkySports.

“Is the best still to come from me? Absolutely. I always keep faith in myself and my abilities.”

“I am already looking forward to next season in terms of what we can achieve and putting the club back where it should be.”

“I’m really looking forward to fighting for the Premier League, which will be a dream for me.”

Then Pedro seems to be happy at Chelsea despite he failed to have a regular place during this season and he has no regrets over leaving Barcelona to join the Blues.

Chelsea has announced John Terry has put the pen to paper on a new one-year contract.
