Chelsea are considering to extend Charly Musonda‘s deal until June 2021, according to reports in the London Evening Standard.

The 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Real Betis, made an impressive start to the season with the Premier League champions as he scored his first goal at Stamford Bridge last week in the Carabao Cup against Nottingham Forest.

Musonda’s current deal is due to expire in June 2019, but Antonio Conte reportedly rates the Belgian winger a key player for his long-term plans.

According to The Sun, goalkeeper Eduardo wants to leave Chelsea.

The article suggests that the Portuguese keeper, who signed a contract extension this summer, believed to be Thibaut Courtois back-up, but then Chelsea reached a deal with Willy Caballero and now Eduardo fears he could lose his place in the Portugal team who will play the World Cup next summer in Russia.

After his agent has admitted that he speaks regularly with Real Madrid, it seems Thibaut Courtois is, at least at the moment, turning down Chelsea offers for a new contract.

The deal between the Blues and the Belgian goalkeeper will expire at the end of June 2019, but before signing a new contract Courtois is watching what is going on at Real Madrid, Manchester United and Psg.

Everybody seem focused on the signings of new players right now, but according to Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, The Blues have, first, to agree a contract extension with manager Antonio Conte.

“Conte would be their most important signing” – Lampard said – “for me he was their man of the season. You talk about player of the year, I’m all for giving the players credit but because it was such a dramatic uplift from the year before I think you have to give him huge credit. You saw the system change and how he made them play in that formation, it worked well. I think he’s a huge signing for them. I have no doubts, I don’t know but I’m pretty confident he’ll be there and they’ll bring in players to play in the system he wants to play.”

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has confirmed he spent a couple of days in Madrid with his family, turning down every possible speculation over his future at Stamford Bridge.

“Yes I spent some days in Madrid because my kids live there and I wanted to stay with them – Courtois, who is currently training with Belgium National team, told SkySports – I am very happy at Chelsea, now for me is important to finish well with the National team and then maybe Chelsea will speak with my agent”.

I am happy to stay here and there’s no doubt that I’ll stay. I have a contract which runs out in two years so if we can reach an agreement for a good deal we will be happy to sign it”,

About Romelu Lukaku, who is reportedly set for a comeback to Chelsea: “Romelu is a great player – Courtois said – If he decides to join Chelsea I will be happy to welcome him to the dressing room, but he’s an Everton player and we have to respect it”.

Eduardo will be a Chelsea goalkeeper also next season: the Portuguese player, who had served as third-choice keeper this season (without playing any game) signed a one-year extension.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has confirmed that is confident about Romelu Lukaku‘s future at Goodison Park despite several rumors linking the Belgian star with a move back to Chelsea next summer.

The Toffee’s head coach said today: “The deal wasn’t agreed; 99.9 per cent is not 100 per cent and they are still trying to get the contract over the line. That’s what I know from the board.”

Lukaku recently claimed that ‘Everton as a football club has a great history, but the future has to be written’.

Koeman responded to the Belgian forward: “Of course I am not happy about that interview because, firstly, if Everton is not a club with a lot of ambition, I wasn’t the manager in Everton.

“Secondly, and I spoke with Rom this morning, I know it’s difficult but if you are a player, prepare yourself to play well and score goals – the rest needs to be done by the manager and the club.

“I spoke with Rom about this project. We had several talks about the future. But I am not so afraid about his situation because the player has two years more on his contract. Of course [I am confident of keeping him] and everybody knows what can happen in football. But you need to respect your contract”.

Lukaku showed his desire to play the Champions League and winning titles in the future, as a football player wants to be remembered.

“Every player has ambition, likes to play for titles, play in the Champions League. That’s a normal ambition. What we want to do and like to do is to show everyone that if there is one club out of the big six to make the next step then its Everton”.

The Daily Star claimed that Chelsea striker Diego Costa rejected a huge offer from the Blues to extend his current contract increasing wage by £50,000.

It is understood Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning offered around £80m and £600,000-a-week to sign the Spaniard in January transfer market window.

The 28-year-old and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte reportedly had an altercation ahead of Leicester game, with the former Atletico Madrid striker also suffering a back pain.

The manager recently said: “The money is not everything. When you play for a great team like Chelsea, you must be pleased. This league is really competitive. I think that this league can attract every player because this league is the first in the world for a lot of positive things”.

“For this reason, I repeat these offers from China are not a threat for our league. Money is not everything”.

“I have to look at the past, also in my squad. Oscar played with us, had a good offer from China, he went and I can see that threat for my players”.

“But I think we’re a great club and it’s a great honour to play for Chelsea and for this reason I don’t see a threat for my players”.
