According to reports in the British press Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has put talks for a new deal with the Blues on hold.

The Italian coach was set to sign a new deal with the Stamford Bridge side in this summer, but it seems he is – at the moment- really disappointed by the club activity in the transfer market

Chelsea signed second goalkeeper Willy Caballero, adding two big signings like Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoué Bakayoko in the past week, but the Blues haven’t signed a striker to replace Diego Costa yet and Conte was literally furious after Romelu Lukaku completed is signing to Manchester United, snubbing Chelsea offer ( it is believed the player and the club had already agreed personal terms).

Conte was approached by Inter over the past months, but the Nerazzurri eventually appointed ex Roma manager Luciano Spalletti, since the Blues coach preferred to stay at Chelsea, who offered him £ 9.6m new deal, that hasn’t been signed yet since Conte want more guarantees from the club, especially in the transfer market.

Chelsea have announced today that Tiemoue Bakayoko is officialy a Blue player.

Something is going going on in the deal that has to bring Tiemoué Bakayoko to Chelsea.

As we reported today the French midfielder was in London last night, where he had dinner with David Luiz and Willian, and at Cobham today to undergo a medical and finally sign his contract with the Blues.

Something went wrong at the moment to sign, with too many agents and representatives – the main one was Kia Joorabchian– that wanted to be on his contract to take their wages, a situation that created confusion, so the deal was temporarily called off.

AS Monaco told French press that the problem in the deal was not the medical, that was passed, or the fee, since the two clubs reached an agreement in the past days ( approximately £ 40m).

Bakayoko seemed very disappointed and after showing his enthusiasm to be close to sign for Chelsea all over the day with his Instagram activity, he suddenly changed his Twitter profile picture, putting back an old snap in Monaco shirt.

Before leaving London he posted a coupled of tweets from Heatrow, where he was claiming he was missing his “home sweet home Monaco”, along with some red and white flags, to remark his feeling with the princedom.

Is the deal definitively called off or is there a chance to close it before Chelsea leave for the Asian tour?

According to Chelsea legend Frank Lampard to extend Antonio Conte‘s deal this summer will be the best signing for the Blues in this transfer window.

Speaking to ESPN, Super Frank said:

“Antonio would be their most important signing. For me, he was their man of the season. You talk about player of the year, I’m all for giving the players credit but because it was such a dramatic uplift from the year before I think you have to give him huge credit.

“You saw the system change and how he made them play in that formation, it worked well. I think he’s a huge signing for them. I have no doubts, I don’t know but I’m pretty confident he’ll be there and they’ll bring in players to play in the system he wants to play.’’

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly demanded double his current £90,000-a-week wages, with talks being put on hold as a result, to stay at the Stamford Bridge side in the next seasons.

His contract expires in 2019, but talks to extend have already begun over the past month.

The Daily Mail reports he wants to double his £90,000-a-week salary before committing, which has forced the two parties to put talks on hold for the time being.

Even if the suggestion that talks are on hold due to the Belgian keeper and his demands remains a concern, both parties are seemingly pretty relaxed about it and will re-start talks at a later date.

Juventus full-back Dani Alves is set to join Manchester City despite being targeted by Chelsea.

The ex Barcelona player is ready to cancel his contract with the Bianconeri to reunite with his former boss Pep Guardiola at Citizens.

The Brazilian full-back claimed that, at 34, he feels ready to play in the Premier League.

Alves is expected to earn around £85,000-a-week at the Etihad.

Man City are in desperate need of adding a right-back to his side following the sale of Pablo Zabaleta and the release of Bacary Sagna.

Chelsea are ready to improve Antonio Conte‘s contract to reward the Italian manager for this amazing season and to keep him away from Inter, who had been tempting him with a huge offer in the last months.

Abramovich will meet soon the coach who gave the Blues the sixth Premier League title of their history, as the pair has to discuss some requests Conte made during the season: this is the reason why the Italian tactician was sometimes ambiguous when talking about his future, especially when speaking to the press from his country.

Conte wanted to warn the club that if he didn’t get the guarantees he wanted he could have accepted Inter’s offer.

But now Chelsea seems convinced to give the Italian manager what he wants and Calciomercato.com revealed the details of his new contract:

Conte currently makes 6 million euros per season (for the next two years) but as sources close to Calciomercato.com confirmed, Chelsea are ready to offer him an 11 million euros per season salary with bonuses which would make him one of the highest paid coaches in the world. That’s not it as the blues are also ready to give him more power on the transfer market. During this upcoming meeting, Conte will also have talks with Emenalo to discuss potential targets. From Alexis Sanchez to Alex Sandro, Chelsea are said to want to spend over 200 million euros on this upcoming summer transfer window. It is also not excuded that Conte might want to add some additional staff members to help him out in London, something that Chelsea will likely allow. As Inter have interest in him, Abramovich is ready to lock him up long-term.

Antonio Conte spoke again about his future in today’s press conference, claiming that he wants to keep the focus on the present to reach the title but also stressing that he’s under contract with Chelsea for two more years:

I” have a contract with Chelsea for other 2 years,” the Italian manager said about his future.

“it’s logical when you start the work in a new club, the will is to continue to work, to develop it in the years, my will is to stay. But not we have to look at this moment, it’s important we are ready to do this step.”

Rumours suggesting Conte will join Inter in the summer refuse to go away but the Blues boss insisted he has a project to work on at Stamford Bridge:

“I have a two years contract with Chelsea, but also I like to repeat in this moment, for me and my players, to be focused on the moment, because this moment it’s very important. This is the right thing in this moment. It’s not normal to have a lot of speculations, but we have not to lose the concentration, the focus, because it’s really important.
