Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri believes Eden Hazard can be compared to Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo or Barcelona’s Leo Messi as the Belgian star ‘is a very great plater”.

Hazard, who scored a brace in the Blues’ away victory against Watford tonight, also marked his 100th goal (the opener in Chelsea’s 1-2 win) in all competitions with the Premier League giants.

And Sarri was pleased to remark this record: “Of course he is very important for us, but Messi is very important for Barcelona, Cristiano Ronaldo is very important for Juventus. He is a very great player”.

“He is able to play in every position. He is playing like a false number nine. He is very able to play in that position, today he scored two goals and I think he made two or three very good assists.

He is very able to come to play with the team-mates, he is able to make space for team-mates, he is very able in that position, but I think that he can play very well in every position.”

According to OK Diario Eden Hazard will move to Real Madrid next January: the Spanish outlet reports that Chelsea have accepted that they are likely to lose the Belgian star, even in the start of 2019.

Los Blancos failed to replace Cristiano Ronaldo during the summer transfer window after the Portuguese star moved to Juventus in July, and their shaky start to the season continued with a 3-0 defeat at Eibar on Saturday afternoon.

Hazard has been in fine form for Chelsea this term, managing eight goals and four assists in 15 appearances in all competitions, with seven of those strikes coming in the Premier League.

The Belgium international has admitted he’s got a lot of esteem of new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri but he will see his Blues contract expire at the end of next season and revealed during the summer that he dreams to move to Santiago Bernabéu.

An unexpected move that add value to the Serie A and stop rumours about Ronaldo returning to Manchester United in this transfer window.

With Cristiano Ronaldo set for a move to Juventus, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to buy a new star for his team.

Many times, Chelsea striker Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to the European champions and now the Blues player confirms he would love to play for Real Madrid:

Does Real make me dream less without Zidane? Zidane is someone special, it’s true, but I think Real’s everyone’s dream,” Hazard told beIn Sports. “Zidane or no Zidane, the white jersey is special but the blue jersey [of Chelsea] suits me well so it does not bother me if I stay.”

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will turn attention to Chelsea star Eden Hazard if both bids for Neymar and Mbappé are rejected, according to Spanish publication AS.

It is understood the Belgium international,  who’s set to face France in the World Cup semi-finals tomorrow night, would be keen to make a move to Real Madrid happen.

While talks between Chelsea and Napoli about the potential appointment of Maurizio Sarri are still ongoing, the Spain giants may turn to Hazard if Paris Saint-Germain remain reluctant to sell their two stars.

With Cristiano Ronaldo edging ever closer to Juventus, Real Madrid are keen to fill the gap with an international star: will they choose Eden Hazard?

Diario Gol also reported earlier this morning that Florentino Perez is set to give him an undisclosed shirt number and has already picked up it ahead of a potential move.

Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta did not feature in the opener against Portugal in the World Cup 2018 tonight.

Spain faced EURO 2016’s champions in the opener of the competition and conceded an early opener as Cristiano Ronaldo converted a penalty to goal after just 4′ in the first half.

Former Chelsea striker Diego Costa got the better of the Portugal defence to level the scores, before Ronaldo grabbed his first brace in a World Cup and put his squad in front again.

However, Costa scored the second brace of the game and secured Spain a double comeback, then Nacho’s brilliant effort put ahead Fernando Hierro’s men with less than 30′ left to go.

Cristiano Ronaldo could not have wished for a better ending as he scored again with a brilliant free-kick.

Spain will face Iran on 20th of June in their race alongside with Portugal and Morocco to book a place for the knock-out phase.

Despite all the rumours and speculations about an agreement already reached with Real Madrid for next season, Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois seems now willing to sign a contract extension with the Blues.

Speaking with HLN’s Kristof Terreur, the Belgian said about his contract: “It has just turned the new year, so we will wait a few weeks and then sit around the table. I’m happy at Chelsea and a deal is close.”

Courtois, also revealed to Kristof Terreur that his contract extension could be linked to Hazard‘s one: “Do Eden and I encourage each other? Yes. He will say ‘if you sign, I will sign’ and I say the same to him. With the money he will raise, you can buy five players but none of them will be like Eden. It would be like Barcelona losing Lionel Messi or Real Madrid losing Cristiano Ronaldo.”

The Blues have reportedly eyed Eden Hazard as a possible key player in a swap deal for the Portuguese star.
