Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia commented Christian Pulisic signing:

“We are delighted to have signed one of Europe’s most sought-after young players.

“Christian has shown his quality during a fantastic spell in Germany and at just 20, we believe he has the potential to become an important Chelsea player for many years to come.

“We look forward to welcoming him to Stamford Bridge in the summer and wish him and Dortmund every success for the remainder of the season.”

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has confirmed everyone at the club is confident Maurizio Sarri will bring “his football philosophy” at Stamford Bridge as soon as possible.

Granovskaia told the club’s official website: “We are delighted to welcome Maurizio and are looking forward to him bringing his football philosophy to Chelsea,

“Maurizio’s Napoli side played some of the most exciting football in Europe, impressing with their attacking approach and dynamism, and his coaching methods significantly improved the players at his disposal”.

She added: “He has plenty of experience in Serie A and the Champions League and we know he is relishing the chance to work in the Premier League”.

Chelsea have also completed the signing of midfielder Jorginho from Napoli on a £50m move today.

“We are delighted Jorginho has chosen to join Chelsea” said Marina Granovskaia.

“He was one of the most coveted midfielders in Europe and will become an important member of the playing squad. He has demonstrated his quality working under Maurizio Sarri and we are convinced his signing will help bring further success to Stamford Bridge”.

Judging from some pictures, leaked over the web by agent John Erriot, Emerson Palmieri to Chelsea is a done deal: the Brazilian wing-back posed for a photo with his agent Federico Pastorello, Blues director Marina Granovskaia and other people from his entourage after he put pen on paper at Stamford Bridge offices.

Chelsea are expected to confirm the deal in hours.

Denmark international Andreas Christensen’s impressive performances for Chelsea this season were rewarded with a new long-term contract at the Blues that was signed today.

The 21-year-old player– who entered Chelsea academy when he was 15 – has signed a new four-and-a-half year contract.

So far in this campaign he replaced David Luiz as a first choice central defender following some fine displays since returning to London after a two-season-loan at Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach.

“It feels really good to sign a new contract and I’m just happy to be committed to Chelsea for the future,” Christensen told the club official website.

“I’ve played a lot of games (22 in all competitions), I’m enjoying it at the club and everything is working well.”

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia said the contract was a tribute to Christensen’s latest performances:

This contract is reward for the excellent form Andreas has shown in the first half of the season,” she said.

“He showed immense potential when he signed for Chelsea in 2012 and is now enjoying the benefits of the dedication and professionalism he has shown since.

“After two seasons on loan in Germany we were convinced he was ready to be a part of the squad this season and he has grasped the opportunity with both hands.”

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia commented Antonio Conte signing a new deal with the club:

“Antonio achieved incredible success last season, adapting to English football very quickly and leading us to the Premier League title,” the Russian director said.

“This new contract reflects our belief that he can continue to deliver results both domestically and as we return to European competition in the Champions League.

The Guardian revealed how the relationship of Antonio Conte and Diego Costa fell out, with the Italian coach ending telling he Spanish striker that he was not in his plans anymore.

It is understood that Conte sent a goodwill message to all his players wishing them a happy time during holidays and reminding them to stay in shape during this period.

Diego Costa fired off a reply, Conte didn’t like the tone and got irritated, the exchange went on until the Italian told the forward he was not fitting in his plans anymore.

The Spanish star then informed the Chelsea board sending them the messages and claiming the club will now have to sell him on his terms, this is when Marina Granovskaia told him to leave negotiations to her.

Now Chelsea are forced to sell a player to a fee that is reduced respect to the £76m that were offered by Tianjin Quanjin last January and the club will lose millions since the fee will be heavily reduced after Costa’s revelation who made th club and Conte furious.

Also Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia spoke about Antonio Conte‘s appointment as Blues new manager since next summer.

“We are very pleased to have recruited one of the most highly regarded managers in world football,” she said to Chelsea website.

“We are equally pleased to do so before the end of the current season. This aids our future planning.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Guus Hiddink, who has done a great job since he joined us in December.”

The Times report about Miralem Pjanic‘s future: the English newspaper explains that Chelsea board director Marina Granovskaia spoke to the Bosnian agents.

Pjanic got a £31m release clause on his contract with AS Roma and if Antonio Conte will be next Chelsea manager the Italian would insist to sign him.

The Bosnian would like to move to Stamford Bridge even without the Champions League participation, that is very unlikely for the Blues.

Sami Khedira spent five season at Real Madrid

Juventus director Beppe Marotta confirmed that the Italian club will sign German midfielder Sami Khedira, who was also a Chelsea target during this transfer window.

Marotta claimed: “We are very close to Sami Khedira and will announce it officially when pen is put to paper.

“We moved swiftly and tenaciously because he has everything we were looking for.

“It is a winning group and we took the opportunity to further raise the quality level.”

Khedira is set to earn a reported £2.85m-a-year in Turin despite his recent injury problems, who made him having a very few game-time in his last two seasons at Real Madrid, that he joined in 2010 when Chelsea boss José Mourinho was in charge.
