According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Jose Mourinho is considering a January swoop for Fiorentina’s striker Nikola Kalinic.
The Italian paper claims that Kalinic’s excellent performances at Fiorentina ( nine goals in 10 games) caught the eye of of the Portuguese coach.
The Croatian signed a four-year contract with the club from the capital of Tuscany this summer. Before he spent several years playing at Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk helping them reach the 2015 UEFA Europa League Final.
If the transfer would really happened, it would not be a debut in the Premier League for him. Kalinic signed for Blackburn Rovers in 2009 but he failed to impress scoring only 15 goals in 54 appearances for the club.
It is said that his potential arrival at Stamford Bridge could coincide with Radamel Falcao leaving the Blues.
