England Under 19s qualify for the European Championship that will be played in Georgia from 2 to 15 July.

Some Chelsea youngsters played in the team which defeated Belarus and which won its Elite Group:  Jay Dasilva  captained the team and Dujon Sterling started the match, while Trevoh Chalobah played the last 24 minutes having replaced Reece Oxford.

Mason Mount was an unused substitute.

Chelsea U18 got access to FA Youth Cup Final for the fifth year in a row after beating Blackburn U18 in a 4-1 aggregate.

Edwards’ guys played an almost perfect match at Stamford Bridge tonight, being always confident and in control of the game: the goals could have been at least 6, but they missed some incredible chances in front of Rovers goalkeeper Fisher.

Dujon Sterling scored the first goal at minute 13: a beautiful finish after a stunning pass byMukhtar Ali.

Then followed the goal by Jacob Maddox at minute 30′ and Tammy Abraham at minute 35′.

A couple of minutes before half time another goal by Abraham was disallowed for offside.

The second half Chelsea missed at least three great chances in the box with Abraham, Maddox and Mount.

Lewis Mansell scored the “pride” goal for Blackburn at minute 62.

Chelsea under 18 will play Manchester City U18 in the final, the young Citizens knocked out Arsenal in the other semifinal.

The first leg will be in Manchester, while the second leg will be played at Stamford Bridge. The exact dates are yet to be confirmed.

It will be a repetition of last year final, that the Blues 5-2 on an aggregate score. Chelsea U18 won four of the last five FA Youth Cups.

Chelsea U18 beat Everton 18 side and are back in the Elite competition title race in the match that was played this morning at Cobham.

The Blues youngsters also know they have to win this competition if they want to be in next season’s UEFA Youth League, another reason why this win was really important.

The winner goal was scored by Dujon Sterling just before half time.
