Chelsea midfielder Oscar will miss next Copa America, that will be played in June in Chile.
The Brazilian midfielder was expected to be included Dunga’s 23-man-squad but following discussions with Chelsea staff, he was omitted, supposedly due to an injury suffered during club training.
His Brazilian fellow-mate Marcelo admitted it will be an important absence:
“Oscar was being called up. I don’t know what happened, I didn’t get to talk to him, but he’s a great player” commented the Real Madrid defender.
“Oscar will be greatly missed, but Dunga is the boss and he knows what is best for the Seleçâo“.
