Eden Hazard will be one of the stars of the Russia 2018 World Cup and, this summer, he will also be the target of many European top clubs, with Real Madrid in the front line in the race to sign the Belgian striker.

However, the Blues player confirmed he is focused on Chelsea and he is already thinking about winning the next Premier League with the London club: “We have a lot of top players, players who are used to winning trophies. We will be ready next season,” Hazard told the London Evening Standard. I think all of the players and the club want one thing and that’s to win the title. Of course we will see if we can bring in some new players. But we will be focused on winning the title.”

Hazard also claimed it will be difficult for Manchester City next season, as it was for Chelsea after winning the 2016-2017 title: “If City keep playing like this, it is going to be hard, but you never know in football,” Hazard went on. “It is always hard to win the league one season and then win it again the next year.”

Chelsea ended their season yesterday winning their 8th Fa Cup: as predicted by Blues legend Frank Lampard, star Eden Hazard was crucial as he scored the only goal of the final vs Manchester United.

There are a lot of speculations that Hazard himself could leave Stamford Bridge this summer as Real Madrid are interested in signing the Belgian striker. His team-mate Olivier Giroud hopes, however, Hazard will stay in London also next season:

Of course I want Eden to stay — who doesn’t want to play with him?” Giroud said after the Fa Cup final as reported by Metro. “I want to carry on working on our partnership. The two of us have only been playing together a short time but we have a good relationship on the field. We play close together because that’s what the manager wants us to do.”

Antonio Conte called himself ” a serial winner” after securing his second trophy as a Chelsea manager in two seasons.

The Blues won the FA Cup with a 1-0 win over Manchester United today thanks to a penalty converted by Eden Hazard in the first half and the Italian coach thanked his players and the Chelsea fans after this triumph but he”forgot” to thank the club, with whom he hadn’t a great relationship in this last campaign.

“To win in England is never easy, in two years is not easy to win the title and the FA Cup facing really good rivals like Manchester City, Spurs, Liverpool, Manchester United is not easy,” the Blues boss said to Sky Sport Italia after the final whistle.

“I believe today we won because we worked very well tactically and we were committed: I’ve always seen their commitment, there have been rumours since the first half.

“I am really happy for the supporters and the players, they always showed me a great will and sacrifice, I guess this win is really valuable because Manchester United is better than us in this moment. I have to thanks my players and the fans for this success.

“My future? I don’t change my position, it’s always the same.

“I didn’t want to hear any other offer because my position has been always the same, since January: to continue here

“I showed to be a serial winner winning the title and FA Cup here in UK: it’s not easy to do that, also because here the title is not assigned before the championship starts.”

Chelsea have won their 8th FA Cup with 1-0 win over Manchester United thanks to a penalty converted by Eden Hazard in the first half.

A very tight game, tactically well-played by both teams were also Thibaut Courtois was among the protagonists, with at least 3 crucial saves that denied the equaliser for the Red Devils, especially on Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba.

The penalty chance came from a master-class pass by Cesc Fabregas to Eden Hazard, who went beyond Phil Jones with a speedup of his: the England international tried to stop before he kicked the ball in the goal but he ended up committing a clear penalty foul.

The Belgian scored with a perfect shot and this, eventually, was the goal who gave Chelsea the cup.

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has his say ahead of tomorrow’s Fa Cup final at Wembley.

Many believe Paul Pogba can make the difference in favour of Manchester United, but the former Blues’ midfielder thinks in a different way.  “I don’t know what Pogba is. He makes bad decisions but then does fantastic things which must wreck Jose’s head”. Lampard said as reported by The Mirror. “Pogba is naturally more talented than I was, he would run all over me and has better feet, but there’s no point dribbling in your own half. All that ‘flick and roll of the studs’, I’m not an advocate of that. A lot of young players see it on YouTube and think it’s amazing but I don’t like it.”

So, according to Frank Lampard is another player who can shine tomorrow at Wembley. “If the right Eden Hazard turns up he can be the match-winner.” the Blues legend said.

Cesc Fabregas hopes his team-mate Eden Hazard would be on a good form next Saturday, so to lead Chelsea to win the FA Cup final against Manchester United:

“He’s a fantastic player. When he’s on his day he can be unstoppable,” said Fabregas about the Belgian.

“We have to make sure we give him the right service so he can work his magic and give us a good performance, because we will need that.”

Chelsea lost the final against Arsenal last year:

You don’t want to be on the back of losing two FA Cup finals in a row,” Fabregas continued.

“Last year we didn’t play well. Arsenal were on top of us and I think they deserved to win.

“It would’ve been a fantastic season winning the double. We have this regret in our head and we want to make it right this time for sure.”

Eden Hazard has warned Chelsea to sign players who will let them challenging in the title race if they want him to commit his future to the club.

Hazard has two years left on his present contract and is considering whether to sign a lucrative extension that would keep him at Stamford Bridge for the remaining prime years of his career.

The Belgian star, anyway, is frustrated by Chelsea’s failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League and, as we explained also yesterday, he is also a real target for clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain.

Asked what it would take to stay with Chelsea in the long-term, Hazard replied:
“I’m waiting for new players next season. We will see.

“I want good players because I want to win next season the Premier League. I want to win a lot of things.”

This would be Hazard’s last big contract and the forward has no intention of rushing his decision, despite reports that Chelsea are willing to pay him around £300,000 ( € 430,000 ) per week.

That’s why I’m taking my time. It’s something big. I need to think of a lot of things. One thing for sure is I’m happy here.

“We can’t be in the Champions League next season so we need to win trophies. That’s it.

“I say many times before I think it is not my last game. It’s the last game of the season, that’s it.

“After the World Cup then we will be ready for the next season.

“But for me, in my mind, I’m here, I have one week to play now. Saturday is a massive game. I just want to win for me and them also.”

Hazard reveals the uncertainty surrounding Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has had no impact on the squad.

Conte is expected to leave at the end of the season after his relationship with the club’s board was ruined by their failure to back his transfer plans.

“We don’t think about that. We’re just focused on the game,” Hazard claimed.

“We have one game to play and then we’ll see what happens at the end of the season.”

“I need two more trophies, Champions League and FA Cup. That’s it,” Hazard said about the trophies he is missing in his personal cabinet.

“We’re Chelsea. We need trophies at the end of the season.

“At the moment we have nothing. We have not qualified for the Champions League. So the season has been bad.

“If we can’t be in the Champions League we need the trophy.

“It’s up to us to save the season with the FA Cup. I’ve never won the FA Cup. I hope this year is for me and for Chelsea. We will give everything.”

Chelsea and Hazard will face their former boss José Mourinho this weekend and the Portuguese has been criticised for conservative tactics this season, but Hazard expects United to pose a stern test.

“We know how he will play. We all know that. That’s why we need to be ready,” he concluded.

Eden Hazard wants to leave Chelsea after the team failed to qualify for next Champions League tournament.

According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, the Belgian doesn’t want to stay at Stamford Bridge because he reckons one season out of the European most important competition could ruin his career.

Don Balon reports that the winger feels it’s time to move on and there are several teams ready the 27-year-old: Manchester City are among the teams that have enquired about his situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

PSG and Bayern Munich have also asked to be kept informed about Hazard’s plans, while Real Madrid are still linked with the Belgium star.
