Just ahead of Red Devils trip to Stamford Bridge manager José Mourinho admits he would love to reunite with Chelsea star Eden Hazard at Manchester United but he is sure the Blues board won’t allow the Belgian star to move to Old Trafford:

“I would love to have him in Manchester United but I don’t think Chelsea will sell him to Man United so it’s a not problem. Chelsea is led by intelligent and experienced people in football and they would never sell Eden to Man United.”

The Special One continued to praise the Belgian during his pre-match press conference, claiming that when he plays at top levels, Chelsea are usually league champions:

“Very good results, top of the league and of course lots of good players, but history says that when Eden Hazard is the best player of the Premier League, Chelsea is the champion.”

“It happened with me and Antonio [Conte], and this season, it is still the beginning of course, but if he is the best player of the Premier League until now, which I think he is until now, Chelsea is top of the league because he is the kind of player who can make a huge difference.”

Belgian star Eden Hazard has been linked many times with a possible move to Real Madrid.

However, in the last few days the player himself claimed he would be happy also to stay at Stamford Bridge for his entire career.

“I can finish with Chelsea,” Hazard said. No problem at all. I am very happy with this club, with the team, my family is happy here. So If I don’t go to Spain, it is not a problem. I love the fans – I think the fans love me! What happens in the future, I will be happy, so that’s it.”

During the last summer transfer window, Belgian star Eden Hazard seemed close to a move to the Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Then the Blues striker spoke with the new Chelsea’s manager Maurizio Sarri and now Hazard himself reveals how the Italian convinced him to stay at Stamford Bridge: “He just told me that he wanted me to be one of the best players in the world. That’s it. And he tried to give me this confidence… and he asked me to score goals”. Hazard told The Premier League Show. “When I speak with him he always says, “You can score three goals every game”. But you know sometimes he is hard, but I try to do my best.”

The Belgian then also praised Maurizio Sarri: “We knew that Sarri was a fantastic manager. He showed to England now that he’s maybe one of the best in the world”. he added. “So at the moment like I say we are playing good, we are scoring goals, creating chances. So it’s good to be here.”

Next weekend Premier League big match will be Chelsea v Manchester United and Blues star Eden Hazard is concerned Red Devils‘ striker Romelu Lukaku has found goalscoring form just in time for the clash.

The forward hasn’t had a great start of the season but in last night game Belgium played against Switzerland for UEFA’s Nations Cup – ended 2-1 for the Belgians – he scored a brace.

“It’s not a good sign that Romelu scored tonight because I’m playing against him with Chelsea very soon,” Hazard told RTL about his fellow countryman.

“If he scores with Belgium it’s fine, but it would be a good thing if he does not with Manchester United.”

Chelsea starlet Eden Hazard has lifted the first award of 2018/19 season after being crowned September’s Premier League Player of the Month Award.

The Belgium international netted 5 goals (against Bournemouth, Cardiff City and Liverpool) in the 4 Premier League games played by the Blues last month.

Hazard has featured in Belgium’s 2-1 win against Switzerland last night and Red Devils remain on top of their UEFA Nations League group following two wins from two games so far.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has confirmed he firmly believes Eden Hazard “can score 40 goals” this season as he told him the day after an outstanding hat-trick against Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge.

“But you have to spend less energy far from goal and you have to play in the last 25 metres of the field” Sarri added.

Eden Hazard claims, again, that his dream has always been to play for Real Madrid and, soon or later, he will transfer to the Santiago Bernabéu, something that he wanted to do already to last summer:

“I spoke after the World Cup and I said that I think it is time to change because I played a great World Cup,” Hazard said on Sunday after Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Southampton.

“I am really in the game, I am playing good football at the moment.

Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I don’t want to lie today. It is my dream since I was a kid. I was dreaming about this club.

“We will see. I don’t want to talk about this every day. I don’t have time but we will talk about my future soon.”

Hazard is out of contract at the end of next season ( June 2020) which means once the current campaign ends, he’ll be in the same position as international team-mate and former Chelsea goalkeeeper Thibaut Courtois, who forced a move to Madrid this summer.

The Belgian keeper had just a year left on his contract, reducing his transfer value, and he failed to turn up for pre-season training at Chelsea before completing a transfer in August.

However, Hazard says he’s got a lot of respect for Chelsea and wants to avoid a repeat:

“I don’t want that. I want what’s good for me, but I want what’s good for the club because the club has given me everything.

“I don’t want to say: ‘Yes, I am signing a new contract’ and then in the end I don’t end up signing. So I will see.

“Sometimes in my head, I wake up in the morning and think I want to go. Sometimes I think I want to stay. It is a hard decision. It is my future. I am 27 and I will turn 28 in January.”

Hazard says trophies will not be the driving factor behind any transfer decision he makes, despite Chelsea having finished sixth last season and thus failing to qualify for the current Champions League a competition Real Madrid have won three times in a row in the last years:

“It is not trophies. Of course, when you play, you want to win. But I just want to enjoy things on the pitch, like I am at the moment. Then I am happy.”

Antonio Rudiger believes Chelsea cannot depend just on Eden Hazard‘s goals and performances.

The German defender aimed a dig to three of his team-mates, claiming they have to improve and to more:

“We need to learn to kill matches. It’s not only on Eden’s shoulders. We need the other players to help him with scoring.

“He has been doing his job very well again, but the other guys must score too. Giroud, Morata, Willian have to score. As a team all of us have to provide more goals, the defenders as well.

“At the end of the day the best scorers are Hazard and Pedro, but with the quality of players we have on the pitch, it’s (the lack of goals from elsewhere) not too good.”

Speaking to BT Sports Chelsea star Eden Hazard reveals he wanted to leave Chelsea for Real Madrid last summer:

“I will tell you the truth. After the World Cup I wanted to leave because my dream is to play in Spain,” the Belgian said.

Then I spoke to the board and the manager and I said ‘I can stay no problem’. The new manager has come in and we are enjoying playing with him and I’m happy I stayed. I’ve got three years on my contract left.

“I love the club, the fans, the city and my teammates, I think, love me so it’s easy to stay. But if I leave or if I stay I will be happy. This club is now part of my life so we will see.”

“We have a good dressing room. There is not a lot of egos so to come here it is easy. He is one of the best managers in the world. He just asked me to score goals. I will try to score 20 and then maybe we can improve.”

This Premier League’s weekend big match between Chelsea and Liverpool ends 1-1 thanks to the goals from Eden Hazard and Daniel Sturridge: the Reds remain top of the league along with Manchester City with 19 points, while the Blues follow the leading pair with 17 points in third position.

Chelsea played better in the first half and take the lead with Eden Hazard at 25′: the Belgian scores with a good left shot after running past all Liverpool defence on Mateo Kovacic’s assist.

Liverpool, anyway, went close to equalise when Rudiger saved a ball from Momo Salah on the goal line.

The Reds played better in the second part and, again, a ball from Firmino was saved on the line by David Luiz, while Kepa justifies his £ 71.6m price-tag with a great save on Sadio Manè, while Eden Hazard and Xherdan Shaqiri both miss easy goals in front of their opposite keepers.

Eventually, Liverpool had their efforts rewarded in the last minute or regular time, when Sturridge levelled with an absolute stunner, enought to let Jurgen Klopp’s side be Premier League leaders again.

Chelsea head-coach Maurizio Sarri had his say following his side's 2-2 draw against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. The Italian boss told SkySports: "I only saw the match...
