Chelsea star Eden Hazard insisted Maurizio Sarri‘s style of play remains his favourite since moving to Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian told Chelsea’s official website: “All the managers I’ve played for have given me something,”

“From when I started with Claude Puel at Lille to now with Maurizio Sarri.

“They all see football in different ways, which is why I’m the player I am. They have all given me important advice. Mourinho was special, but the way Sarri and Garcia like to play is more like my philosophy of football.”

It is understood Hazard’s contract expires in June 2020, with Real Madrid heavily linked with a move to land him to Santiago Bernabeu next summer.

These can be crucial days for Eden Hazard‘s future: speaking with RMC Sport, the Chelsea‘s star has explained he knows what will be the next step in his career.

I have made a decision.” Hazard said during an interview and, as it is understood, Chelsea and Maurizio Sarri already know what this decision is.

Moreover, French outlet LaVdn have suggested they will release an interview tomorrow night during which Hazard will reveal his plans.

Chelsea came back to winning ways after getting a 5-0 win against Huddersfield Town at Stamford Bridge earlier this afternoon.

Maurizio Sarri made four changes from the starting XI which suffered a disappointing away defeat at Bournemouth and was fully rewarded by his lads on the pitch.

First goals from Gonzalo Higuain, who scored twice, Eden Hazard‘s brace in style and David Luiz’s header from a corner were enough to seal a much-needed win and move back into the top four (Arsenal will face Man City tomorrow, kick-off: 4.30PM).

Higuain broke the deadlock in the first half, well assisted by midfielder N’Golo Kante before Hazard converted a penalty to make 2-0 at halftime. The Belgian was the main character in Chelsea’s third goal with 25 minutes left to go, then the Argentine striker gifted a masterpiece in the 69th minute as he curled a first-time shot from 20-yards-out and beat Huddersfield keeper Lossl.

Tonight Chelsea will face Bournemouth, but in his pre-game press conference the Blues’ manager Maurizio Sarri spoke about the transfer market, comparing the situations of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Eden Hazard:

The situation of Eden [compared to Hudson-Odoi] is different,” he told reporters. “Eden is 28. If he wants to go, I think he has to go. Of course, I hope the opposite. I hope he wants to stay here”.

The Italian also underlined once again how the Belgian star is not playing at his best and he cans still improve: “He has the potential to be the best player in Europe at the moment”. Sarri went on. “Sometimes he’s happy with something less. It’s my job to improve him and put him in a position to do his best.”

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has aimed something of a dig at his manager Maurizio Sarri following the Blues’ win over Tottenham in League Cup this evening.

The Belgium international, anyway, doesn’t seem bothered about what the Italian coach says, judging by his response when asked about his comments after tonight’s game:

“I don’t care. I just play my football. It doesn’t matter what the manager said. I just focus on my football and want to do my best for this team,” Hazard was quoted by the Daily Star’s Paul Brown on Twitter.

Few days ago, in an interview with France FootballChelsea star Eden Hazard has admitted he has frustrated many managers in his career, including Maurizio Sarri.

Today, speaking during his pre-game press conference the Italian explained it’s true he is not completely happy with the Belgian talent:  “Sometimes. I prefer him when he speaks with his feet”. Sarri claimed. “I think he said that coaches told him that he needs to do more. I think that he has to do more, because the potential is higher than the performances, I think. He has to respect, first of all, himself. He has to do more.”

Most of all, Maurizio Sarri has not been completely satisfied with Eden Hazard’s performances as a “false nine”: “You know very well that Eden is at the moment a wonderful player, but he’s an individual player. He’s a very instinctive player. For him it’s very difficult to play only in one position. He likes very much to go to the ball”. the Italian manager explained. “He wants the ball on the feet. So for him I think it’s very difficult to play as a striker, but it’s very difficult to play also as a winger. We have to organise the other 10 players in the defensive phase.”

While Chelsea‘s fans are waiting for the signing of Gonzalo Higuain and Alvaro Morata’s move to Atletico Madrid, once again Eden Hazard hasn’t ruled out the chance of a future with Real Madrid.

When asked by France Football about his move to the current champions of Europe, the Blues’ star claimed:

Why not? I’ve seen all there is to see”. Hazard explained. “I‘ve won everything here: the two cups, the league, apart from the Community Shield, but that doesn’t mean I am going to leave. I have always said that, after England, I wanted to discover something else. But there are things that could make me stay too. I’m not far off the peak of my career, that’s sure. Even if things can always be better, that’s for sure too. I am at a crossroads, yes. We are going to take the right turn.”

Chelsea star Eden Hazard explained who all his managers have always expected more from him and have been frustrated, in some way, by his performances:

I didn’t just frustrate Conte,” Hazard told France Football “In my career, I’ve frustrated all my managers, and now, I’m frustrating Sarri. I frustrated Mourinho. They all think you need to score more, do more of this and more of that. I’ll also frustrate the next manager I have.”
