Blues Legend Marcel Desailly speaks about the future of two Chelsea star, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.

According to the French ex player, the Belgian striker should stay at Stamford Bridge, while Costa could go, especially if someone will offer big money for him.

“I’m not sure Eden Hazard has the intention of being that top player” – Desailly told TalkSport – “being first choice at Real Madrid. I am not sure he is fully ready to change and take the risk, because he will want to play regular football”.

On the other hand, Desailly added “Costa should go if he feels like it. Money now in modern football is high and if a Chinese or another rich team comes for him in the summer he will have to go”.

“That is why we want to win the trophyEden Hazard said – Because if we go to the national team they will speak too much! So we need the trophy for Chelsea.”

Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Mousa Dembele are all in Belgium national team alongside with Chelsea stars Hazard, Baatshuayi and Courtois.

Hazard added: “Tottenham are waiting for us to lose points but if we do the job we will be champions in the end. We have to be ready because in England you never know, you can lose points against every team but we are professional, we know what to do if we want to be champion”.

“When we see Tottenham, everything is not done. It is one step closer but we have seven games left to play and we have to be ready for everything.”

Eden Hazard reveals he knew he would have scored against Bournemouth.

The Belgian player claims that to become a top player you need to score against every team:

“You have teams that you know before the game that you can score, or that it’s your team,” said Hazard.

“I remember in France I always scored against the same teams, but if you want to be a top player, you have to score against every team.

“It was a good goal, I like to score against them. I scored two goals against them here last season.”

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard praised Blues star Eden Hazard, who was the protagonist of the crucial win over Bournemouth yesterday and he’s becoming, game after game, a true leader for Conte’s side:

“For me, there’s a new maturity about him,” the former English midfielder told Goals on Sunday.

“It’s not just on the pitch, but off the pitch. He’s doing more interviews, he’s speaking English, and those things important when you become a player of his level.

“I think last year, and I am huge Eden Hazard fan, there were times when he was so confident in his ability that he would beat someone twice in midfield, he’d beat them and then beat them again.

“Now, there is a real directness to his play. He’s more efficient and getting into areas to score goals.”

Marcos Alonso‘s stunning free-kick secured Chelsea 3-1 away win against Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium last time out, in a really tough game.

“We talked about going for the third goal at half-time, – the Spaniard told Chelsea’s official website – It was third time lucky [for me] after hitting the crossbar two other times. This time it went in and I’m very happy”.

Then his teammate Eden Hazard claimed the Blues ‘have to believe in everything’ as they are ‘one step closer to the title’ following another crucial win.

Man of the match Eden Hazard commented the 3-1 win over Bournemouth, a message Chelsea sent to Spurs, who won 4-0 over Watford in the early afternoon:

We passed a test,” Hazard told BT Sport.

We knew the result of Tottenham before the game and today we deserved to win.

“It’s more easy to control the game when you score first but at the end of the first half we were a little bit down.

“But in the second half we did well to control the game.

“We have to believe in everything. Now is one step closer to the title and we have seven games left.”

Chelsea are now seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table with seven games remaining.

Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois made some crucial saves against Manchester City despite an unexpected goalkeeping error in Sergio Aguero’s equalizer at 25′ which ruined his great performance.

The Belgian star, when asked about Chelsea teammate and compatriot Eden Hazard, told Standard Sport: “Yes. Eden is one of the best players in the world. Chelsea have ambitions to win the Champions League again and always look to play for the title. If you want to do that, you need the biggest players and he is obviously a big part of that.”

It is understood Real Madrid are hoping they can sign Hazard in the next transfer window, but Courtois claimed: “Eden is not affected by it. They are just rumours. He is just calm. He knows that he is important to Chelsea, like I do”.

“We are both very happy to be here. This was my 100th game for Chelsea and I hope for many more” added Courtois, who has been heavily linked with a move to La Liga too.

Hazard was named man of the match against Manchester City: “Eden is a great player and showed it again against Manchester City – Courtois added – It was a great first goal. His penalty was from the rebound, which reminded me a bit of what happened against Crystal Palace when we clinched the League two years ago. Hopefully it will go the same way”.

“He is fantastic, but he works hard for the team too and did a lot defensively, which is what we need from him. I am very happy for him.”

Steven Gerrard revealed what is the main difference between Chelsea and Manchester City and what Pep Guardiola‘s side are missing to be a real top team:

“You need a world class goalkeeper, Chelsea have one and Manchester City don’t,” Gerrard said on BT Sport.

“Any goalkeeper that this level will be unhappy parrying that back to Hazard from the penalty.

“He’s [Guardiola] obviously got no faith in Joe, he doesn’t rate Joe. He’s got more faith in Bravo and Caballero and he didn’t even give Joe a chance.

“I don’t rate those two. He’s probably performed better than the two City keepers at the moment.”

Chelsea star and man of the match Eden Hazard spoke after his side’s home win against Manchester City.

“It’s a big win, of course, – the Belgian star said after the game – I don’t know if the way we played was beautiful. But the most important thing is to win games”.

“The way we play can be better. But it was a good win against a great team. It’s always a real battle when you play against Man City. In the first half we did everything. The result is 2-1 and we’re happy today”.

The Belgian star shined in Chelsea clash at Stamford Bridge as he scored a crucial brace: “I try to do my best and help the team to win games. – he said – We have eight games to play and we want to win the title. That’s our target”.

“We are nearly there but there’s a long way to go. We are ready for everything”.
