According to Italian journalist, Emanuele Giulianelli, Sunderland outcast Emanuele Giaccherini is waiting for an offer from Chelsea to move to Stamford Bridge.

The agent of Italian international, Giaccherini, has admitted that it would be a dream move for him to move to London. However, according to the Daily Mail, it is becoming more likely that he will move back to Italy to join Torino, who are supposedly already in talks with the winger.

Giulianelli tweeted.

“Giaccherini is waiting for Chelsea to offer.

“If Blues won’t place a bid for him, Torino will be the first option.”

Italy and Sunderland attacking midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini would drop any potential move to Serie A to work under Antonio Conte at Chelsea next season, according to his agent.

Giaccherini has featured in three of Italy’s four games so-far in Euro 2016 and has won praise for his effort-full displays for the Azzurri on their way to the quarterfinals of the tournament.

The 31-year-old spent the last season on loan at Serie A club Bologna, and is almost certain to leave Sunderland for good this summer with a number of clubs in Italy keen on landing him.

However, according to his agent, Furio Valcareggi, Giaccherini would halt any move to stay in Italy if Chelsea show an interest in him when Conte, the current Italy manager, takes over next month.

He told Lady Radio: “There is Torino, Bologna and there is also a team abroad.

“I’d like to see him at Fiorentina, undoubtedly, but we have other situations at stake now.

“This is probably the high point of Giaccherini’s career.

“If Conte calls, we’ll fly to Chelsea.”

Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has put Emanuele Giaccherini on top of wishlist and the Blues are going to enter talks with Sunderland over a move to Stamford Bridge this summer, according to the South Shields Gazzette.

It is understood the 31-year-old  would be eager to rejoin his current head coach with Italy, but also Fiorentina and Bologna have been linked with a move to sign him.

Giaccherini played under Conte during his spell with Juventus, then he joined the Black Cats in 2013.

Spain lost 2-1 to Croatia last night and now they will face Italy for the EURO 2016 Round of 16 next Monday night.

It will be a Chelsea game, since four Blues men are involved: Antonio Conte is currently coaching the Azzurri, while La Roja count on Cesc Fabregas, Cesar Azpilicueta and Pedro.

The latter one burst out in the past days for the lack of playing time, but the ex Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder was always a starter – last night he provided the assist for Morata’s goal and was one of the best of his team- while Azpilcueta entered in the final minutes in the previous games against Czech Republic and Turkey.

Other players to watch: Alvaro Morata, Leonardo Bonucci and Emanuele Giaccherini, as the three were heavily linked to Chelsea in the past days.

Furio Valcareggi, the agent of Chelsea target Emanuele Giaccherini, believes that his current club Sunderland will not have a big asking price for the unfavoured forward, despite impressing at the European Championship with Italy.

Giaccherini joined The Black Cats in 2013 for £6.5m. He made 43 appearances for the club in a stop-start manner and spent last year on loan at Bologna in his native Italy.

Valcareggi is seemingly pushing for a transfer to Chelsea, even more so now that Antonio Conte is almost on his way to Stamford Bridge.

“Giaccherini is a player who played 80 percent of the games for a Juventus that had [Paul] Pogba, [Andrea] Pirlo, [Arturo] Vidal and [Claudio] Marchisio in the midfield.

“Conte likes him a lot and Chelsea would be a dream. It’s still too early to talk about his future. After the Euros, whoever wants to buy him will not have to pay a high price to Sunderland.”

Coming from the second very good Euro 2016 performance offered for Italy in a row, Sunderland forward Emanuele Giaccherini has been linked to a market suggestion linking him to Chelsea.

Interviewed by Sportitalia, his agent, Furio Valcareggi, stated:

Giaccherini is a player who succeeded in playing the 80% of Juventus games when their midfield roster was including Pogba, Marchisio, Pirlo and Vidal.

“Antonio Conte has a very high opinion of him, and following him at Chelsea would be a dream coming true. After European campaign, clubs willing to sign him from Sunderland will be allowed to do it for a low sum“.

The former Bologna player is tracked by Fiorentina, AC Milan and Torino.

Chelsea have been speculated with interest in Sunderland flop Emanuele Giaccherini.

Giaccherini is currently on loan with Italian club Bologna for the rest of the season after failing to impress at the Stadium of Light. The Italian international is performing better in Italy, scoring 6 goals in just 17 appearances.

It is likely that Antonio Conte, the current manager of the Italian national side, would be interested in the signing of the 30-year-old if he was to make to the managerial move to Stamford Bridge.

Giaccherini would play a similar role to Eden Hazard if the Blues were able to lure the player to England from his native country Italy, leaving speculation open to Hazards future at the London club.

Football Italia reports today two names recommended by Antonio Conte for next transfer market window. The shopping list of the Italian national team could include Simone Zaza of Juventus and Emanuele Giaccherini of Bologna.

The first one, Zaza, has been eyed from both West Ham and Arsenal in spite of his sporadic use during the current season because Massimiliano Allegri prefers Dybala alongside Morata or Mandzukic.

Meanwhile, Conte said to be a great fan of Giaccherini who he called up for Italy when he was playing for Sunderland and moreover now. The wing, currently on loan, is astonishing at Bologna but could give the Premier League a second chance if Conte called him.
