eva carneiro mourinho

It will start this morning in the London South Employment Tribunal in Croydon the hearing of Eva Carneiro and the other parties over her Chelsea constructive dismissal case.

The doctor arrived this morning in south London accompanied by her husband Jason de Carteret and her lawyers.

This preliminary hearing is expected to be held in front of an employment judge and will fix the timetable for the case, and deal with witness statements and disclosure of documents – including texts and emails – by each side, as well as any legal procedural disputes that current exist between the two parties.

A date for a full hearing could be fixed for some time in June but there may be another preliminary hearing arranged before that takes place. The parties may also agree to a settlement before the case is heard.

Carneiro is taking also a separate legal action against ex Chelsea manager José Mourinho for alleged victimisation and discrimination.

The Portuguese manager was already cleared of using discriminatory language towards her following an investigation by the Football Association.

Chelsea legend Pat Nevin soke to Newstalk’s Off The Ball and claimed that, in his opinion, ex Blues boss José Mourinho is desperate to get Manchester United job:

“I don’t know if Man United will take Mourinho,” he said.

“I would guess if I had to put my life on it, I’d say Mourinho would love to go to Manchester United, maybe now more than ever.

“I think Manchester United were worried about the problems Jose might bring beforehand [in 2013] but now…”

Nevin also stated that Mourinho could have some issues with those players who are signed by Van Gaal and are into his style of playing:

“You look at the Man United team, he’d have a problem coming in.

“Anyone would have a problem coming in. A number of them are Louis Van Gaal‘s guys. Some of them might not show up.”

José Mourinho’s agent’s Jorge Mendes dismissed rumours of a done deal between the ex Chelsea boss and Manchester United.

Many reports suggested that the Special One already had an agreement with the Red Devils to replace his friend Louis Van Gaal soon, since the Dutch manager is on the brink at Old Trafford.

But, speaking to Globo Esporte, Mendes dismissed all this:

There is nothing to those rumours,” the agent said.

“We do not know what will happen in the future, but there is no agreement for now, nor is there an official proposal.

“Those rumours are simply not true.”

According to the Daily Mail Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is desperate to sign Pep Guardiola as the Blues next full time manager.

Since he had sacked José Mourinho last Thursday the Russian tycoon has had just one name in his mind for next summer: Pep Guardiola, who since June will be free from Bayern Munich, as confirmed by the same German club on Friday, with ex Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti to replace him in Bavaria.

Abramovich already tried to sign Guardiola in 2012, during his sabbatical year, and the deal was almost done but then the Spaniard changed his mind after Di Matteo’s sacking, thinking that Chelsea board was too volatile and headed off to Bayern Munich, where he took charge in summer 2013.

Abramovich and Chelsea board were furious for his decision, but at the end José Mourinho came available and his return was set for a second spell that had to last many years but it lasted…until his sacking last Thursday!

It won’t be easy for Chelsea to get Guardiola anyway: it’s not a mistery that also Manchester City are willing to sign him to replace Manuel Pellegrini next summer, and the Spaniard got huge respect in the Citizens’ board from his old friends Ferran Soriano – chief executive-  Txiki Begiristain – director of football.

The pair was at Barcelona in 2008, when Guardiola was promoted from the coach of the reserves team to manage the first team: he immediately won a treble and then added other two Ligas, another Champions League and two World Club Cups.

So these facts can advantage them to sign the Spaniard.

Anyway, there is one man that seems to know already if Guardiola chose Chelsea or Manchester City as his next stop: Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Bayern Munich chairman, in fact, stated:

“I think I know where he is going. But I want to leave the announcement to him or his new employer.

“At the Christmas party two weeks ago he came to me, he told me that he was looking for a new challenge and almost apologised.

“It was clearly difficult for him, I’m not disappointed in him.”

Kevin de Bruyne moved to Wolfsburg from Chelsea in January 2014

Europe top clubs are in a challenge to sign ex Chelsea prodigy Kevin De Bruyne.

The Belgian attacking midfielder spent six months in Chelsea first team squad ( after being signed in 2012 and loaned out to Genk and Werder Bremen) but failed to impress, also because of some misunderstandings he had with manager José Mourinho, so Chelsea sold him in January 2014 to Wolfsburg for 18m £, where he is now performing really well.

De Bruyne he the undisputed star of Wolfsburg in this campaign where the German side are second in Bundesliga table – only the “monsters” of Bayern Munich are ahead of them- and in the EL quarter finals after kicking out Inter, a tie were the Belgian was determining with a brace scored in the first game ( 3-1) and an assist in the second one ( 2-1).

De Bruyne also scored 12 goals and produced 16 assist in the German championship so far, and of course these stunning numbers and performances could remain unnoticed to the European giants and so now many top clubs are keen on him: the first one is Bayern Munich, that are always trying to sign the best players in the Bundesliga, but also PSG seem ready to place a bid, along with the two Manchester side, City and United, that are in the race for him.

De Bruyne value in this moment is around 30m £ but Wolfsburg hope to cash 40m £ by selling him.

In the last few weeks Chelsea's manager Maurizio Sarri has been "under siege" with many fans demanding his sacking by the London club. However, midfielder Mateo Kovacic spoke out and praised the...
