Inter are really close to sign Chelsea target Antonio Candreva.

The Lazio winger, that was one the best players in the last Serie A’ s championships, will undergo a medical between tomorrow and Thursday and then will sign a four years contract with the ex José Mourinho side.

Inter will pay € 22m ( £ 18m) plus add-on in four years. The official statement is expected in the next two days.

Candreva was a fundamental player in Antonio Conte‘s Italy and the new Chelsea boss was keen to sign to revamp his squad.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is really keen to revamp Chelsea midfield after signing N’Golo Kante and now the target is set on two of Lazio and Italy’s players.

In fact, the Italian coach, wants to bring Antonio Candreva and Marco Parolo to Stamford Bridge.

Candreva is set to leave the Biancocelesti, a decision taken already before the euros and confirmed by his agent, Federico Pastorello:

“Antonio has realised it’s time for a new challenge.

“Fans shouldn’t be upset or angry, it’s part of the logic that brings clubs and players together, and then clubs take decisions to go their separate ways.”

The Italian winger has been targeted also by Inter and Napoli but Lazio chairman Claudio Lotito’s € 25m ( £18m) request was considered exaggerate for a 30-years-old player the missed half of EURO 2016 tournament for an injury.

Wanda Nara, Mauro Icardi‘s wife and agent, is in London to hold talks with Arsenal about his husband future.

The Argentitian striker is set to leave Inter after the club rejected to raise his wages this summer, since he signe a new deal ten months ago.

Icardi, 23, was Serie A top scorer with 22 goals two season ago when he was just 21, was targeted by several Premier League clubs during the past season, and many of them like Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City sent scouts to Italy to observe him.

The forward is currently in the USA to enjoy Inter summer tour: the Gunners, who are desperately looking for a number 9, are ready place a £ 50m offer to sign him.

João Mario has been, without any doubt, one of the protagonist of EURO 2016 with Portugal.

The Sporting Lisbon midfielder impressed in the international tournament in France and was heavily linked with many European top clubs, among them Chelsea, Manchester United and Inter.

But in this moment, he wants no distractions:

“Two days away from playing a final – my only focus is on playing this final,” he claimed in an interview today.

“My future is only two days – to the European Championship final,” added about the transfer market rumours.

Then he went on speaking of next Sunday’s final against France:

“Critics are a part of football. We don’t care about them. We don’t want to win to have our revenge, we want to win for the fans.

Inter are working to sign Italian international Antonio Candreva from Lazio, and in the last days the Nerazzurri directors were able to decrease the price of the player from € 25m ( £ 20m)  to € 18m ( £ 14.5).

Candreva wants to join Inter, but Chelsea are keen on the player too and they can make a new offer to try to hijack the move.

The Blues are waiting for Antonio Conte to finish the euros to hold a true negotiation.

He’s been one of the best players so far at EURO 2016 and his performances, of course, weren’t unnoticed.

Inter star Ivan Perisic was targeted by Barcelona and Chelsea after being the protagonist of the three Croatia matches in France, especially the one of the other night against Spain, where he provided the assist for Kalinic‘s equaliser and scored the winner with a couple of minutes to go.

According to Italian sources Antonio Conte would like to bring Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic at Chelsea.

The Slovenian number 1 was one of the best in his role in Serie A in the past campaign and the Nerazzurri put a £18m fee on him.

An arrival of Handanovic to Stamford Bridge could mean that Thibaut Courtois would leave Chelsea: Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG are interested in him.

Inter defender Jeison Murillo is keen to stay at the Milan side also for next season, snubbing approaches by Chelsea and Manchester United, who were trying to sign the centre-back that last summer was voted as the best youngster of the Copa America.

“I want to stay at Inter, the Colombian told Rai Sport after Inter’s 3-1 win over Udinese.

I am an Inter player and am not thinking about the future right now. Coming to Serie A has really helped me improve, although it was difficult at first to adapt to a very tactical and physical league.”

Inter are still hoping in a third place spot that would allow them to play in the next Champions League, even if it’s really difficult with a possible -7 gap from Roma, that are playing Napoli tomorrow night:

Udinese played very well, but we also did our best to get the victory and are happy to have taken home the three points,” Murillo concluded.

According to the Star on Sunday next Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is really keen to bring Inter’s Stevan Jovetic to the Stamford Bridge next summer.

The ex Manchester City striker is currently on loan at Inter and had an highs and lows season: he started really well with several decisive goals that brought Inter at the top of the league, then disappeared for some months but now he seems to be top fit again, since last night scored a brace against Udinese that helped the Nerazzurri to win 3-1 over the De Canio’s side.

Conte noticed his progress during this season and now wants to sign the Montenegro international.
