Gonzalo Higuain is expected to fly to London on Tuesday to finalize a loan move to Chelsea, according to reports in Italy and England.

The Argentine striker reportedly won’t be allowed to leave the club and undergo his medical at Chelsea until AC Milan have completed the signing of Krzysztof Piatek from Genoa CFC.

Higuain has been left out of tomorrow’s clash against Genoa CFC and will move from his parent club Juventus to Stamford Bridge on a six-month loan.

Speaking at a press conference, AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso told journalists: “I accept his decision. He could have done something more and maybe we could have helped him fit in better”.

Chelsea duo Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri have been included in the shortlist to face both Ukraine (friendly match) last night and Poland (UEFA Nations League) on Sunday.

The midfielder was selected in the starting XI, playing alongside with Cagliari star Nicolò Barella and PSG maestro Marco Verratti.

Roberto Mancini‘s men managed to break the deadlock with Federico Bernardeschi from a long distance before Ruslan Malinovskiy leveled up the score later in the second half. Emerson Palmieri was an unused substitute at Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa, where the game was stopped into the 43rd minute to commemorate those who died in the motorway bridge collapse on 14th August.

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the appointment of Gianluca Spinelli as their new goalkeeper coach.

The Italian leaves Chelsea after almost two years in charge under Antonio Conte’s management.

Spinelli has put the pen to paper on a deal until June 2023, as PSG confirmed via their official website.

The former goalkeeper coach of Como 1907, Genoa CFC and Italy national team, reunites with Gianluigi Buffon.

Spinelli has been crucial in Thibaut Courtois‘ development at Stamford Bridge and won silverware twice as Chelsea lifted the Premier League title in 2017 and FA Cup trophy earlier in May.

Paris Saint-Germain may have been given a boost in their transfer pursuit of Chelsea target and AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who could be eager to work with an italian goalkeeper coach as well as alongside with Juventus legend Buffon.

Edin Dzeko is set to leave AS Roma tomorrow, having travelled with the squad, as the Giallorossi face Sampdoria in Serie A tonight. The deal should be completed by Thursday.

The Bosnia-Erzegovina international is currently expected to be selected in the starting XI by manager Eusebio Di Francesco, who remained coy when asked whether Dzeko could leave the club earlier this week.

Here are pictures of Tower Airport in Genoa, where the former Man City striker is currently resting ahead of tonight’s game at Luigi Ferraris.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is considering to place a bid for ex-Genoa youngster Richmond Boakye, who currently plays for Red Star Belgrade.

The 24-year-old striker will face Arsenal next week in the Europa League, with Chelsea scouts reportedly set to watch the Ghana striker in action.

Boakye spent last season with Italian side Latina, before joining the Serbian giants in January: Boakye has scored 15 goals from 22 appearances so far.

Chelsea have joined Paris Saint Germain, Inter and Manchester United in the race for Serie A golden boy Pietro Pellegri.

The Genoa forward, only 16, is one of the new Serie A sensations, having scored already 3 goals in only 7 games with the first team ( and not always as a starter).

Genoa outlet Il Secolo XIX, claims the competition has got even stiffer as PSG have entered the race for Pellegri in the last days.

The French champions are reportedly scouting the Italian and they are preparing to swoop, even if Inter was ready to place a bid for him and another Genoa’s young talent, Eddy Salcedo ( who turned 16 last week).

Genoa, however, are hoping that Pellegri will opt to stay for at least two more years at the Rossoblu.

Vincenzo D’Ippolito, Diego Laxalt‘s agent, revealed that Chelsea are keeping tabs on the Uruguayan star, who could join the Blues next summer as Marcos Alonso needs a back-up in that position.

“Genoa believe in him, but they are always open to selling their players for the right offer,” he said.

“He’s not going to leave in January, – D’Ippolito stated – But the club will definitely listen to offers at the end of the season”.

The 23-year-old is contracted with Genoa until June 2018, after the Serie A side signed him permanently from Inter Milan a few months ago.

“There are many clubs that have been scouting him. Fiorentina have been watching him for a very long time, they also wanted to sign him last summer, but there are also requests from the Premier League”.

“Conte had been scouting Laxalt when he was in Italy and he’d love to take Laxalt to Chelsea now.”

Chelsea are reportedly scouting also Southampton defender Virgil Van Dijk.

Nathan Ake

Genoa join the race to sign Chelsea young defender and midfielder Nathan Ake on loan.

The Italian side targeted the Dutch player as an alternative signing to Ajax’s Nicolai Boilesen, who is set to transfer to Aston Villa.

Boilesen, 23, rejected Genoa’s approach and is understood to be keen on securing a switch to the Premier League.

Many Bundesliga sides are also interested in Ake, but it seems Genoa took advantage in the race to Chelsea player.

The Italian club already signed Manchester City youngster Olivier Ntcham.
