After playing yesterday vs Mol Vidi in Chelsea‘s last game in the Europa League‘s group stage, the Blues midfielder Cesc Fabregas claimed he is frustrated for the few chances Maurizio Sarri is giving him during this season.

“I know what my role is. Unfortunately it’s not the one I want,” Fabregas said when asked about his role as backup. “I’m keeping it professional as usual. I’m always trying to do my best, in the conditions, playing with the youngsters, playing with the first team, even though this year I still haven’t played with the full, full first team one game.”

In the last few weeks Cesc Fabregas has been also linked to a move to Ac Milan in the next transfer window or next summer.

Chelsea will face today Vidi in their last Europa League Group stage’s match.

The Blues are already sure to finish top of the table their group so Maurizio Sarri will make some rotations in his Starting XI.

For tomorrow we have three 2000 in the 18. Maybe Odoi will be on the pitch, I don’t know at the moment. Ampadu maybe on the pitch because of Cahill injury. Premier League, I don’t know. I don’t think in Manchester City, United, the other big teams there are 2000 with a lot of minutes. I hope in the future there will be a chance for Callum, for Ampadu. It is up to them I think”. the Italian manager explained.  “Odoi played in August, the Community Shield, two Europa League matches. Tomorrow maybe he is on the pitch so it is four opportunities. I think they have only to play very well in this opportunity. For the moment Odoi did it. Now I am looking forward to Ampadu. The future for them is very important. They have to improve every day. Technically they are very good.”

Chelsea failed to gain the top spot in the Champions League group stage after drawing with Atletico Madrid tonight at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues will now face one of the winners of the other groups, but Chelsea manager Antonio Conte doesn’t seem worried by this perspective.

“This is a fantastic competition, this is the best tournament. If you want to go through, if you want to try to be protagonists in this tournament, you must be ready to face the best teams. Our opponent won’t be happy to play against us.”

Conte, hovewer, believes Chelsea and other Premier League teams may have more difficulties in the final stages of the Champions League: “Don’t forget here this season is very tough” – Conte added -. “You have to play a lot of games, but when you arrive at the final stage to play for quarter-finals, semi-finals the English teams have a lot of games in their legs. For this reason I think it could be problematic to win.”

After his side’s draw vs Atletico Madrid tonight at Stamford Bridge Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is satisfied with the Blues’ performance except for one aspect.

I think tonight it was a good game and a good performance,” – Conte said. – “I think we deserved to win the game because we had so many chances to score and you have to try to take them. Instead, their goalkeeper was I think their best player and in other circumstances could be more accurate. But at the same time, we conceded a goal and we have to improve because after a corner there were a lot of mistakes. When you play this type of game the defence is very important. We had the strength to draw and to try to win the game. We must be pleased because it was a really tough group.”

Chelsea captain Gary Cahill belives Antonio Conte‘s side deserved to defeat Atletico Madrid tonight in their last game of Champions League‘s group stage.

“We more than deserved the win, we had some fantastic chances,” – Cahill told BT Sport. – “How have we not won? We should have won. You can pick holes in any goal you concede but overall our performance was good. Jan Oblak was fantastic today, he’s had an amazing game.”
