During his pre-game press conference Chelsea‘s manager Maurizio Sarri has admitted he is sorry Fulham sacked Claudio Ranieri.

“I am really very sorry but I know very well his character so I know very well we will see him very soon in another bench”. the Italian said. “I think now it’s hurting. I think a lot, of course. It is normal. As I said before I know his character. He is very strong. In a few days he will be able to think to the next situation and the future”.

Also, Fulham appointing a new coach will make Sunday’s Premier League game more difficult for Chelsea: “Usually when there is a change of the coach there is a reaction and so we have to front also the reaction”. Sarri went on. “Then it is very difficult to prepare the match. We don’t know the new system and ideas. It is a very difficult match”.

Chelsea captain John Terry reveals that watching other teams winning makes him sick:

“You miss that feeling of being the champions, being the best, and nothing can ever, ever replace that,” the Blues skipper told SFR Sport.

“When you see another team, whether that be Man United, Man City, Liverpool, whoever it is, Arsenal, lift the trophy at the end, I can’t even watch it. It hurts.

“This is why I want to still carry on playing, because that hunger is still there to be the best, to win trophies for my football club.”

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed, that he is deeply hurt with the FA’s decision to ban Diego Costa for three matches after the Spaniard has been found guilty of violent conduct. The Special One has admitted also , that the Blues might not be able to cope with the loss.

The Portuguese manager does not hide that he is very disappointed with the FA’s decision regarding his striker. Especially after finding out that the FA rescinded Gabriel’s red card. What is more, the Special One has said, that in his opinion the club might not be able to cope with the loss of Costa.

Mourinho said:

“Every time you lose a player it’s not good for the team and easier to accept an injury. An injury is part of the game and we have to be mentally ready,”

“But this kind of situation goes much, much, much, much more deeply and the team is hurting, obviously. I don’t know if the squad can cope without Costa”

“The team has lost an important player for three matches and don’t need to lose their manager. So I prefer to keep calm and quiet.”

“If I bring examples and go deep and bring feelings into the discussion a big suspension will be waiting and I don’t want that. The team doesn’t need that.”

The Spaniard will miss Premier League clashes against Newcastle and Southampton.
