Inter are really active on this transfer window in order to revamp their squad after three very disappointing seasons.

The Italian giants want to go back to the level history gave them and to become a top team again they already signed Kondongbia from Monaco, Miranda from Atletico Madrid and Jeison Murillo – who was Colombia’s sensation at Copa America– from Granada.

The Italian team was also keen on OM midfielder Giannelli Imbula, but the midfielder- an old Chelsea target- now is set to join Porto.

So Mancini‘s side are putting out feelers for Obi Mikel: the Nigerian midfielder would suit the kind of midfielder that Inter are looking for, adding an important international and top club experience.

Chelsea are keen to sell him and the negotiations have just begun.

According to French media, Chelsea have reportedly made contact with Olympique de Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula.

Chelsea have long been linked with the French international, and now they are going to make the final move by launching €12m for the player.

However, Imbula wants to stay at the club, but Andre Pierre Gignac and Andre Ayew are set to leave Marseille on free transfers and the French club are going to sell him, since they need money.

The 22-year-old midfielder also holds the citizenship of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

He made his professional debut in Ligue 2 on 16 October 2009 for Guimgamp in a game against Dijon FCO, becoming the youngest player in Ligue 2 history at 17 years, 1 month and 4 days of age.

In May 2013, he was voted best player of Ligue 2, and he joined Olympique de Marseille from En Avant de Guingamp on the 19 July.

Imbula has impressed for Marseille this season

Juventus have stepped up their interest in Chelsea transfer target Giannelli Imbula.

The 22-year old Marseille midfielder has attracted interest from a host of European clubs after becoming a key man for the French side since joining from Guingamp in 2013 for just £2.6 million.

The France U21 international has a contract at Marseille until 2018 but the Ligue 1 side may want to cash in on the £25m-rated defensive midfielder.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has already been linked with Imbula but Italian giants Juve are now also looking to sign the player too.

Imbula has reportedly been scouted by the Serie A side on more than one occasion this season, and the club are reportedly very keen on him after a string of impressive performances.

Imbula has made 34 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring twice in the process.
