Speaking during his pre-game press conference, Chelsea‘s manager Maurizio Sarri explained tomorrow’s game vs Arsenal will be very tough for his team.
“This match is a risk and an opportunity because they are doing well at home. As you said before it is a great opportunity for us”. the Italian said. “They are really a very good team. The offensive phase they are one of the best in the PL, they are dangerous, and it will be very important”.
Chelsea won the first Premier League‘s meeting vs Arsenal this season, and now they want to get the same result: “August was a very different match. We learned they had a lot of dangerous movements, especially when our full-back is out of the line”. Sarri however explained. “We worked during this week on this, they are very dangerous. Marcos in that match scored in a very unusual action for us. It wasn’t by chance but similar. I think that we can be dangerous against these opponents, but we have to stay in the match, defend and have good application for 95 minutes”.
Chelsea’s manager then spoke about the January transfer window, underlining he doesn’t know anything about the signing of Gonzalo Higuain, which, in any case seems very imminent: “I want to be clear, I spoke to Marina two weeks ago, she knows my opinion and then I decided to be focused on the pitch and training”. Sarri claimed. “I know that Marina is working very hard, but I know nothing about the market. I don’t call her every evening, otherwise I spend my energy on the market, it is better to spend mental energy on the pitch”.
