Diego Costa is keen to join only one club: Atletico Madrid.

After falling out with Blues boss Antonio Conte at the end of the past season, the Spanish forward didn’t come back from his summer break to train, as he continues his holidays in Brazil, but he is still on Chelsea books.

Despite Atletico’s ban from the market until next year, Costa is discussing his exit from the club with the directors to join the Colchoneros and be ready to play since January 2018.

The Brazilian-born striker rejected AC Milan offer as he is only considering an Atletico return.

Ricardo Cardoso, a lawyer and legal representative of Diego Costa that is part of Jorge Mendes’ company Gestifute, has spoken to Spanish news agency Agencia EFE, and he’s announced that Costa is on the verge of handing in a formal transfer request to speed up his Chelsea exit.

Cardoso also said that Blues manager Antonio Conte has acted “unfairly” to his client, while he claimed the chances of Costa ever playing for Chelsea again are “impossible”.

The lawyer also claimed:

“We are going to use all legal mechanisms to hold Chelsea accountable for their behaviour, making it possible for Diego Costa to leave. We will formally ask for a ‘transfer request”.

AC Milan CEO Marco Fassone confirms Diego Costa is a Rossoneri target.

The Italian club, that have been active in this transfer window, are looking for an experienced and prolific striker to revamp their attack.

Yesterday they met powerful football agent Jorge Mendes in Sardinia and speaking about possible deals for his players – they have already signed forward André Silva from FC Porto – they included Diego Costa in their talks.

After the meeting with the Portuguese agent Fassone claimed:

“Diego Costa is a great player, but he is a Chelsea player and I would prefer to avoid talking about players from other teams.

“We went to see Jorge Mendes; there is a lot you can talk to him about. Costa is a great player but he is of Chelsea. That’s all.”

Diego Costa will soon leave Chelsea and now his agent and him are looking for his next club: in this moment the club that is closer to sign him is AC Milan, that have already signed three players in this transfer market: Musacchio, Kessie and Ricardo Rodriguez.

Costa’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is reported to have met Rossoneri CEO Marco Fassone and sporting director Massimo Mirabelli before last weekend’s Champions League Final in Cardiff and further discussions are now scheduled for later this week.
The Italian giants have spending power at their disposal this summer after the Chinese takeover and coach Vincenzo Montella has been promised some top quality reinforcements ahead of the new campaign.

Tianjin Quanjian are confident they can lure Diego Costa from Stamford Bridge as they look set to offer Chelsea a stunning £75m deal for the Spaniard.

The Premier League giants have reportedly accepted the bid and Diego Costa have been offered £650,000-a-week after tax, according to exclusive reports in the Mirror Sport.

Diego Costa’s deal would be the most lucrative contract in the world, and the former Atletico Madrid striker with agent Jorge Mendes and representatives of the club have reportedly already set personal terms with the Chiense Super League side last week.

This means that Romelu Lukaku could return to Stamford Bridge to fill the gap.

Antonio Conte can leave Chelsea at the end of this season to join Inter, it’s not just a rumour.

According to our sources, the Italian side made him a huge offer through a man working for powerful football agent Jorge Mendes.

Conte is considering the offer for two main reasons:

– His family don’t like London and are not really keen to move in the English capital. Right now both his wife and daughter still lives in Turin and Conte claimed more than once that this situation is not good for him and his beloved ones.

– The Italian coach would like to have more power on Chelsea transfer market decisions but, until now, the club don’t want to increase his authority at Stamford Bridge. Conte doesn’t like the fact the club doesn’t want to give him more trust after the fantastic job he made in the last months.

The ex Juventus manager left the Bianconeri in the middle of pre-season 2014/2015 for similar reasons: issues aroused between him and the board for some transfer market operations.

One fundamental condition for Conte to accept Inter’s offer is that Nerazzurri will qualify for next Champions League edition: right now the Nerazzurri sit 6th in the table, 6 points behind the thir place, that is the last one available to qualify for the most important European competition in Italy.

The fact the Italian boss was not clear on his future during yesterday’s press conference ( http://www.chelseanews24.com/top-stories/conte-still-not-clear-about-his-future-i-will-speak-with-the-club/) confirms that something is going on and the situation will be valued at the end of the season.

Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth claims Diego Costa and Antonio Conte will meet tomorrow to decide over the Spanish striker’s future.

It’s understood that the Chelsea striker has been offered £600,000-a-week to join Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning, a different offer from the Tianjin Quanjian’s one of last week.

Another Blues legend, moved to Jiangsu Suning one year ago, when the Chinese club offered £ 25m to Chelsea for the Brazilian midifielder. The owners are the same that bought Inter Milan last summer and that aim to bring the former Mourinho‘s side to European glory.

“We are told he will be meeting head coach Antonio Conte tomorrow to discuss his future at the club,” Sheth told Sky Sports.

“It’s thought Costa is using a £30m offer from China as leverage to get a better contract at Chelsea. One source claims he’s after £300,000-a-week,” the Sky Sports journalist concluded.

Suning are also keen to offer £ 80m to Chelsea to close the deal and Costa’s agent Jorge Mendes is told be already in China to discuss the offer.

Chelsea tried a last minute move for Real Madrid star James Rodriguez reports from Spain claim.

The same sources state that the Colombian forward’s agent Jorge Mendes met the Champions of Europe directors in the Spanish capital to discuss a move of James to the Blues last night.

A report from El Confidencial claims Chelsea offered Cesc Fabregas as part of a deal, but Madrid were not interested in the former Barcelona man.

Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez asks £60million for Rodriguez, who is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League but, in this moments, prefers to stay at the Merengues to battle for a place in Zidane’s starting XI.

According to new Blues boss Antonio Conte Diego Costa is set to stay put at Chelsea, but Sportmediaset.it reports that his agent, Jorge Mendes, offered the Spanish striker to two Serie A sides that are looking for a number 9.

According to the Italian TV network website the Portuguese agent contacted Inter and Napoli to start a negotiation for the ex Atletico Madrid player.

Napoli are trying to replace Gonzalo Higuain, that moved to Juventus, with Inter captain Mauro Icardi, so the Nerazzurri would need a new striker should the Argentian forward moved to the Azzurri.

Sky Sports reports that Louis van Gaal has left Manchester United‘s team hotel and appeared in good spirits in taking time to pose for photos with fans.

Sky reporter James Cooper spoke to the Dutchman as he left the team hotel, wishing him “good luck” to which van Gaal replied “it’s over“.

Exactly what this means is unclear. Manchester United refused to comment but the formal agreement with ex Chelsea manager José Mourinho is really close, as his agent Jorge Mendes is expected to land in Manchester in the upcoming days- probably Tuesday- to put pen on paper for the last details of the contract.
