Izzy Brown has joined Leeds United on season-long loan from Chelsea, as the Championship side confirmed  via official statement.

The 21-year-old, who’s currently recovering from a serious knee injury, was crucial for Huddersfield Town in getting the promotion to Premier League back in 2016/17 season.

Brown said: “The decision was easy. I can’t wait to see what this season brings us, it’s going to be a good one”.

The Chelsea youngster then reunites with Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker, who have been both loaned to Marcelo Bielsa’s side earlier this summer. Leeds United are currently enjoying an impressive start to the season after getting 13 points from 5 games so far.

Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman has today joined Championship side Leeds United on a season-long loan, both clubs have confirmed via their official websites.

The 24-year-old, who spent last season at Sheffield United, will spend a second loan spell in the Yorkshire.

Blackman kept 9 clean sheets last term picking up 33 appearances with his former club.

He told Leeds United’s official website: “I’m looking forward to starting this new season it’s going to be a really good season. I’ve been speaking with the manager and the staff, then coming up from Chelsea looked a good step for me to be in the right direction.

Obviously I have to try to push as much as possible to be close to the first team. Leeds are such a big club where to show what you can do on the bigger stages”.

Blackman joins Chelsea loanee Lewis Baker at Elland Road ahead of 2018/19 campaign.

Chelsea 23-year-old midfielder has today completed his move to Elland Road as he put the pen to paper on a season-long deal with Championship side Leeds United.

An official statement read: “Leeds United are delighted to announce the signing of Lewis Baker from Premier League side Chelsea. The midfielder has joined Leeds on a season-long loan deal and becomes the club’s first arrival of the summer transfer window”.

Baker, who joined Chelsea in 2005, spent 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons on loan with Vitesse Arnhem and Middlesbrough respectively.

Newly-appointed manager Marcelo Bielsa will help Lewis Baker in his development.

The Chelsea loanee told Leeds’ official website: “I was on holiday and I was ready to come back. They came up and showed over the plan, this is a massive club with amazing history. This sounds like a great opportunity for me”.

“I saw the plan they prepared for this season, bringing in a massive manager and director of football. He has got a good aspiration for the season, he managed some of the best players in the world. We definitely want to challenge and think on promotion”.

Piazon will be probably off for a long period, this is how his current manager, Slavisa Jokanovic, commented the unlucky occurrence:

“We have probably lost Lucas Piazon because we believe it is a bad injury.

“It’s not a question about complaining – it can be bad luck or a tackle outside of the normal – but I’m really disappointed with what I heard from one of the referees who explained: ‘This is English football and this is completely legal.

“I am a 48-year-old man and I’ve never heard an ugly answer like I heard in this stadium.”

“I don’t see so well. I’m a little bit disappointed that I hear around me something so ugly.”

Young Chelsea striker Islam Feruz is wanted by a host of Championship clubs, according to FootballLeagueWorld.

The Scottish U21 international is wanted by Bristol City, Leeds United and Wolves, who are all promising the youngster regular playing time.

Feruz has had previous loan spells with then-Championship side Blackpool and Greek side OFI Crete brought little success.

The 19-year old left Celtic in 2011, but the pacey and instinctive striker lost favour with the Blues. However, now back in the limelight, Feruz has been assured that any contract will guarantee playing minutes for the young striker.

John Stones

Chelsea will make John Stones the most expensive defender in British football when they return with a new offer for the Everton defender.

The Merseysiders have already turned down a bid in excess of £25 million from Chelsea last week, and the champions are willing to increase their bid for the 21-year-old to over £30 million meaning that they would be breaking the record set by Manchester United when they bought Rio Ferdinand from Leeds United in 2002.

Stones is thought of as potential long term replacement for John Terry by some, and a defensive partner for Chelsea’s captain by others, but Everton have so far insisted that he is not for sale.

Have you ever wondered who are the worst-behaved fans in the Premier League right now?

We’re not talking about the stadium atmosphere, but about supporters involved in incidents, especially while travelling.

Now you’ve got the answer: the worst fans are those of Manchester United, since they have been involved in more incidents on England’s trains than any of their rivals.

British Transport Police revealed supporters of the Red Devils were caught up in 36 incidents on the rail network during the past two seasons, that is an impressive number.

The second place is taken by their city rival, Manchester City, with 30 incidents. Third place on a not so special standing for Sunderland supporters, who were involved in 28 episodes.

Chelsea fans share the fifth place with Villa fans, with 24 incidents, while Newcastle are fourth with 27 and city rivals of Arsenal and Spurs share eighth place with 18.

Stoke fans occupy the sixth place with 21 and Everton the seventh with 19.

In the Championship Leeds United fans are on the top of the chart with the incredible number of 77 incidents – more than twice the number of incidents involving Manchester United supporters.

Birmingham City are second with 40 and Nottingham Forest are third with 35.

Millwall fans, that were considered very dangerous, are just in the seventh place, sharing it with Derby County, with only 17 episodes occurred.
