Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham are doing very well while on loan at Crystal Palace and Swansea, the first one impressed in the England friendly game against Germany some days ago.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was asked if it was the right decision to send them on loan instead of including them in this season first team squad and the Italian coach replied that the loan step was necessary to let them play and improve:

“I think we are talking about two young players, they will be the future of Chelsea, it’s right for them to play regularly. I read RLC’s interview: this experience is important for him, for his development, for his maturity. It’s the same path that Christensen followed when he was loaned two seasons at Borussia Monchengladbach.”

Brazilian midfielder Willian believes Ruben Loftus-Cheek will have a great future as football player and, joking, says he doesn’t understand why Chelsea let him go on loan to Crystal Palace this season.

“A very good player,” Willian said about Loftus-Cheek -. “He is strong, he has quality. He has a great future. I don’t know why he is at Crystal Palace. He has to come back!”

Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham, now at Swansea, is happy after his second cap with England major team against Germany last night.

Speaking after the clash he claimed he’s sure his future will be at Stamford Bridge:

“Yes, it’s been amazing, obviously to make two senior caps is a big achievement for me,” the current Swans striker said after the Wembley game.

“It proves that I am doing the right things. I just have to keep focused and working as hard as I can.”

Chelsea’s academy staff know all about his ability but also mention his love for the game and his unbounded enthusiasm for it :

“Yeah, for me I live football,” Abraham agreed.

“Football has always been in my heart. And every time I step out on that pitch I always want to prove myself and do the best that I can.”

Asked if he can make it to Russia 2018 World Cup:

“Definitely,” was his instant response.

“I’m a person who believes massively in myself, and like the (England) coaches just said to us – we have to go back to our clubs and give 100 per cent and hopefully see what happens.”

Abraham, while focused on his loan club sees his England future at Stamford Bridge:

“Yeah, definitely,” he replied.

“Hopefully that will be the dream really. Like I said, I have to do everything right this season and we will see what happens next season.

“Right now, I’m literally just focused on Swansea. Last season I was focused just on Bristol and this season focused on Swansea. So I just have to keep proving myself and hopefully I’ll get my opportunity.”

After his loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach, Andreas Christensen is now becoming a star with Chelsea in the Premier League.

His team-mate Willy Caballero explains one of his secret on the pitch: “For Andreas it is the way that he plays because he is really young but he looks older when he plays,” – Caballero said – “He’s so calm on the ball and in defence that he looks like he’s got 100 caps under his belt”.

Midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek impressed in his England debut last week and he is collecting many good performances in his current loan at Crystal Palace this season.

Next season Ruben Loftus-Cheek will make his way back to Stamford Bridge to play with Chelsea and Blues legend Pat Nevin believes the youngster must try to emulate what another Chelsea player is doing now after spending some seasons on loan.

Ruben for his part still has to muscle his way past Cesc Fabregas, N’Golo Kante, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater when he comes back to Stamford Bridge, and this will be no easy task”. – Nevin told Chelsea official website – “If however he continues to impress for England and is clearly the best of the bunch at Crystal Palace for the rest of the season, I am convinced he will get a chance. The perfect example for these two is Andreas Christensen. He played some first team football here, but he earned his stripes as well as made his mistakes playing with Borussia Moenchengladbach. They were playing not only in the Bundesliga but also the Champions League and when he won that club’s Player of the Year, it was clear he had shown he was good enough to be part of the Chelsea squad”.

With the future of Michy Batshuayi more than uncertain at Stamford Bridge after some poor performances, it seems Chelsea are thinking about recalling Tammy Abraham from his loan at Swansea in the second part of the season.

The young striker has already scored five goals in ten games and Swansea’s manager Paul Clement insists he will stay in Wales all season long.

“There is a stipulation in place that if he does not meet a certain amount of games, a proportion of games by the halfway stage, he can be recalled,”  – Clement explained – That is a normal thing to have on a season-long loan in place to protect the player, to make sure he’s getting the right amount of game time. But if we were bringing in a player of his ability then I felt he was coming here to play. As we stand there is no reason to think he would not meet that criteria. He’s well on course for that and he’ll be here for the year. The only way they can recall him is if he is sat on the bench for the remaining games. But the way he’s playing I can’t see that happening.’

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is playing at Stoke City in a season-long loan after recovering from a knee ligaments injury.

The Blues will visit the Potters tomorrow at Britannia Stadium in a clash valid for the Premier League.

Speaking about the form of the French defender and the decision to send him on loan at Mark Hughes‘ side, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte said:

“For Kurt this season is very important to play,” Conte claimed.

“After a really bad injury – because it was not a normal ACL injury, it was REALLY bad. He’s playing very well, this season for him is very important, he can improve, he can find the best fit, I’m pleased for him and I hope to see him tomorrow to say ‘hello’ to him.”

The decision to send him on loan was taken both by Conte and the club, as the manager confirmed:

“Don’t forget that every decision I take, I take it with the club. It’s always important to know this, but in this specific case it was important to send him on loan for this season to play regularly”

Diego Costa’s move to Fenerbahce was definetly called off this morning, ChelseaNews24 exclusive sources revealed us.

The Spanish striker was really close to move to the Turkish side on loan for the next four months, but his demands on the wages were considered too high after an agreement for £ 4m + 2m on add ons was found yesterday.

Chelsea gave him the green light after accepting a free loan until December 2017, with an option for a permanent moved fixed at £ 45m.

But the Brazilian-born striker changed his mind, since he already promised himself to Atletico Madrid from January 2018: Fenerbahce agreed to include a clause in the deal to set him free for his return to the Colchoneros, but then Costa increased his wages request to Fenerbahce with a shocking £ 7m deal for just four months.

Now the Turkish Super League side has just a little more than 24 hours to find another top striker on the market, with ex Blues Samuel Eto’o among the favourites to sign for them, and Chelsea will have to deal with an AWOL player for other four months, until the Atletico Madrid transfer ban will end and he will be free to move to Atletico.

Diego Costa was left out of squad by Antonio Conte after the pair fell out in the end of the past season: the Brazilian-born striker is AWOL despite being included in the Blues Premier League squad, and always claimed his only wish is to return to Atletico Madrid.

But the Spanish side have to respect FIFA transfer market ban until the end of 2017 and Diego can join them back only in January 2018.

Next year all major national teams will have to challenge in Russia 2018 World Cup and the Spanish forward needs to play during the season to be selected in the Spain squad.

This is the reason why Fenerbahce presented an offer to Diego last Monday: ChelseaNews24 exclusive sources in Costa’s entourage revealed the Turkish side proposed a £ 7m deal to the player that accepted the offer and free loan to Chelsea, who wanted a fee.

The two clubs agreed a £ 5m fee for a season-long loan, but then the Spanish forward changed his mind, claiming he just wanted to be loaned to the Turkish only for the next three months, asking a £ 4+2m add ons in wages for until the end of 2017, so to join Atletico in January 2018: in this case the loan would be free of charge.

Always according to our exclusive sources Costa rejected a £ 24m per year contract Tianjin Quanjin last January, when the winter transfer window was opened and Chelsea could still replaced him, and then accepted a £ 26m on February from the same side, but the Blues had no chance to substitute him anymore so they didn’t let him go: it was in this period that his relationship with Conte started to fall out.

The deal can be closed today or tomorrow, as the transfer market window in Turkey is still open until tomorrow night.
