Manchester City vs Chelsea

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri, who left the pitch without even saying goodbye to Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola following the 6-0 defeat at Etihad Stadium, was asked to comment his team performance.
He told SkySportsAt the moment, I am not able to explain [the defeat]. During the week my feeling was very good. I am not able to understand.”
Will there be scrutiny on your position?  “I think that is right. I am in charge of the team so, it’s right.”
On whether there will be talks with the club about his future“I don’t know. Not at the moment. But I think that will happen, it’s normal. It’s something that we need to do. I don’t know, you have to ask the club. I have no idea.”

Chelsea were completely out of the game and suffered an incredible 6-0 defeat against Manchester City at Etihad Stadium today.

The Citizens managed to score four goals inside 25 minutes, with Sterling who opened the scoring in the 4th minute. Sergio Aguero bagged a brace and there was space for Ilkay Gundogan’s score as well.

Absolutely absent and confused Chelsea, mostly in the first part of the match. Ball possession was not enough, Blues resoundingly lost their worst match of the season and sink into frustration. In a second half as much frustrating Aguero completed his hat-trick following a foul from Azpilicueta on Sterling, who made it 6-0 in the 80th minute.

CHELSEA (4-3-3): Kepa; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, David Luiz, Alonso (Emerson 73′), Kante, Jorginho, Barkley (Kovacic 52′), Pedro (Loftus-Cheek 65′), Higuain, Hazard

MAN CITY (4-3-3): Ederson; Walker, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko; Fernandinho (Silva 75′), Gundogan, De Bruyne ( Mahrez 68′), B Silva, Aguero (Jesus 65′), Sterling.

Bookings: Jorginho, Marcos Alonso, Gundogan
Scorers: Sterling 4′ 80′ Aguero 13′ 19′ 56′  Gundogan 25′
