Mario Pasalic goes back to Italy: after his loan spell with Ac Milan during 2016-2017 season, the Chelsea midfielder now joins Italian side Atalanta.

Pasalic, signed by the Blues in 2014, played last season with Spartak Moscow. Pasalic himself started the pre-season training with Chelsea and played the second half in the friendly vs Perth Glory on Monday.

Now it’s official: Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic completed a loan move to Spartak Moscow.

The 22-year-old, who was signed by Chelsea from Hajduk Split in 2014, signed a contract with the Russian side for season 2017/2018.

This is the fourth loan for the Croatian midfielder after the ones to Elche, AS Monaco and AC Milan of the previous campaigns.

21-year-old Chelsea loanee Mario Pasalic is keen on impressing during his AC Milan spell after making his debut against Pescara last week.

“I thank coach Montella and chief Galliani for nice words about me – the Croatian international told Goal That means a lot but it will not make me fly,”

“I will just give my best to be at a high level, worthy of a club like Milan. It is a big pleasure to play at San Siro.”

About speculations over a possible comeback to Chelsea before the end of the season: “I was calm and just trained. Stories about me leaving Milan didn’t distract me. I feel how the coaches treat me; it was enough for me to stay and proof that the club want me to stay.”

Pasalic added: “I am thrilled to finally play for Milan. I think I have done very well. I had two good chances; too bad I didn’t score. I felt a big relief after my debut. I have waited for so long and worked hard for that moment.”

Chelsea loanee midfielder Mario Pasalic is not set to comeback to Stamford Bridge from Milan in January, the player’s representative has confirmed today.

His agent Vincenzo Cavaliere told Milannews.it: “From a physical point of view, he feels food and he’s really concentrated,”

“He wants to win a place and he’s sure he will be able to help the team, Milan has always been his priority.”

The 21-year-old Croatia international joined the Rossoneri on a season-long loan from the Blues in August.

Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic is confident that ‘his time is coming soon’, according to agent Federico Pastorello, who claimed the Croatian starlet is happy to stay at Milan and seems ready to bounce back following the slow start to the season.

It is understood the 21-year-old is still recovering from a series of injuries which suffered last season.

Pastorello told Calciomercato.it: “He has no problems of acclimatisation, or physical problems. He has not played because according to coach Montella he is a little ‘back in physical condition’ because he didn’t do the physical training with the others as he was still recovering from injury. He played only two friendly games since he arrived. His time is coming soon.”

AC Milan are considering to let Chelsea loanee Mario Pasalic leave after just one month on loan at the Serie A side, according to reports in Italy.

The midfielder has yet to debut with the Rossoneri and even in the last game – when both Andrea Bertolacci and Mati Fernandez were out due to an injury – the Croatian starlet did not feature.

Calciomercato.it suggested that AC Milan could decide to send the 21-year-old back to Chelsea before the end of the season.

AC Milan boss Vincenzo Montella looked satisfied after his team won 2-1 in a friendly game against Bournemouth yesterday.

The Rossoneri manager also had nice words for Chelsea loanee Mario Pasalic, that joined his team in the last days of the transfer window:

“Pasalic? He definitely has great potential and he did well considering he only just arrived and didn’t train a lot.
