Huge boost for Manchester  United ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Chelsea: the Red Devils recovered two key players, Marcos Rojo and Marouane Fellaini.

Rojo has been unavailable since April after suffering serious ligament damage in United’s UEFA Europa League quarter-final second-leg against Anderlecht. Fellaini picked up an injury during the October international break while with Belgium and hasn’t played since.

The pair travelled to London with the rest of the squad while Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick still remain on the sidelines recovering form their injuries.

Also Jesse Lingard, who suffered a back injury in the Champions League game against Benfica last Tuesday, travelled to London with the selected squad.

José Mourinho now has two more options for tomorrow’s game at Stamford Bridge, the third return since he was sacked in December 2015 by Roman Abramovich.

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is confident ahead of Red Devils’ clash against Chelsea in the F.A. Cup Quarter-Finals.

The Belgium international claimed: “Of course Hazard and Courtois are confident, but let’s go there and see what we can do”.

Chelsea beat Manchester United 4-0 in October at Stamford Bridge, but Fellaini believes his side can bounce back from that defeat: “Obviously we lost there a few months ago, but now it is the FA Cup, a new game and a different competition”.

Then he ended: “It will be tight. They are top of the league, they have confidence, they have great players, but we will show our quality there and see what happens.”

Eden Hazard was set to captain Belgium in the Sunday’s friendly match againt France. The Rode Duivels won 4-3 in a game full of twists. It is suffice to say that the last two goals was scored in the additional time.

This match will be long remembered by the fans at Stade de France. Both of the teams played at 100% efficiency and the match was more like a fight for the championship than a friendly game.

The shooting began in 17th minute, Marouane Fellaini used the confusion in the box and scored the first goal. Then he scored again in 42nd minute. The first half finished 2:0 but no one expected such emotions in the second part of the game. In 50th Radja Nainggolan shot from the distance and increased the score to 3:0. His goal deserved to be called the goal of the match.

The French who were already loosing significantly, managed to rise from their knees. In the 54th minute, the refree gave them a penalty. However it was a very controversial decision. With 3:1, France put the second gear but after two minutes there was a penalty for Belgium. Eden Hazard the captain of the team did not waste the opportunity and the Rode Duivels were close to make a huge sensation in Paris. But the team of the Seine rushed to counterattack. In the last minutes they scored another two goals. At least they managed to reduce the size of the defeat.

The match ended with a 4:3 victory for Belgians. Without any doubts nobody expected a seven goal thriller. It was a victorious debut for Eden Hazard as team captain.

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has said that he is confident of his side’s credentials for next season.

The Belgian thinks his side can challenge the champions, Chelsea, in the title race in the 2015-16 campaign, after finishing a disappointing fourth in Louis van Gaal’s first season in charge at Old Trafford.

Speaking to Goal.com, the 27-year old admitted:

“Of course we can catch Chelsea. We have the quality, I think we will sign some new players, so why not? We have to.

“We have the quality and we are a big team, so we have to.”

Kurt Zouma spoke to Chelsea official website after Manchester United clash to analyse his – great- game on Fellaini and the situation in the title race, pointing out the season is not over yet:

“I had to stay with Fellaini because we knew he is on fire at the moment. He has scored a lot of goals so I had to keep an eye on him, and I think I did it well. I had to be physical with him and stay close to him”

“The game was very difficult. The most important thing was that we had one chance and we scored. We defended very well. Manchester United didn’t have many chances to score. We stayed compact”

“We have as much confidence as normal but we are very focused on the next game”

“There is a long way to go and the season isn’t finished. We have to keep going”.

José Mourinho revealed a curious episode that almost ruined his plans before Manchester United clash.

Fellaini was one the men in the best form in Van Gaal’s side and Mourinho already got a plan in his mind to stop him: to play Kurt Zouma in the midfield, and at the end the plan did work, because the French defender literally put Fellaini in his pocket.

But in the morning of the game the hotel doorman almost ruined Jose’s plan, as himself narrates:

I came down in the morning and the doorman said, ‘Fellaini isn’t playing’

There was a guy that really looked like Fellaini in the hotel, and the doorman asked him ‘What do you want here?’ He said, ‘I’m Fellaini and I’ve come to get tickets from my friend Eden Hazard’

Didn’t smell well for me. I go to Google on my phone and I put in Fellaini brother. The guy is the same”

“So I go with the pictures to the doorman. I say, ‘This one or this one?’ He looks, ‘This one’.

“F*** off, he’s the brother”.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois knows very weel Marouane Fellaini, as the pair are fellow-mates in the Belgium national team and he knows that the Man United midfielder has become a key player in Van Gaal side in the last months, so he revealed he is one of the players they are concerned about for tonight’s clash:

‘Manchester United have a lot of other good players to decide a match, so we are not completely focused on Fellain but we know that when he comes into the box, he is very dangerous”

“I will probably have to come out to collect crosses into the box. Of course, we know about him and hope to keep him out”

“Of course, [the exact way we deal with him] has to be kept private. I cannot say exactly how we will do it, but of course we know to keep an eye on Marouane”.

Chelsea head-coach Maurizio Sarri spoke following tonight's defeat against Manchester United in the FA Cup fifth round tie. The Italian boss said: "I think so. Of course I’m not...
